Barr has made plain that he intends to examine carefully how and why Comey, as FBI director, decided that the bureau should investigate two presidential campaigns and if, in so doing, any rules or laws were broken.

It seems that Bob Barr is schooling Jeff Sessions on what the responsibilities of the AG are, and how to talk to congressional democrats. AG Barr does not seem to be cowed by the press, I hope that does not change.

I can even see a more insidious way they were going to trap Trump. It is called a MOSAIC. Invented at CIA years ago. They put “pieces” of guilty evidence all over the map for the investigators to “find”. When the pieces are re-assembled the picture that will emerge can only be traced back to thre accused. He will not be able to escape the trail of evidence.

I am sure Barr has more experience running DOJ than Sessions who spent majority of his career in US Senate as a dependable conservative vote, but i can’t think of any significantly conservative bill to his name which became law.
