The New York Times editorial board urged Congress to give President Trump the administration’s requested $4.5 billion in emergency funding for the crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border.
“President Trump is right: There is a crisis at the southern border,” the editorial board wrote Sunday in a piece titled, “Congress, Give Trump his Border Money.”
“There is no pressing national security threat — no invasion of murderers, drug cartels or terrorists. No matter how often Mr. Trump delivers such warnings, they bear little resemblance to the truth,” it said.

It is a form of CYA; but there’s more. It calls DJT’s description of the crisis a full-on lie. And then it says that damn near all of the money would go for benevolence to the poor bedraggled wretched refuse as they come over. So lieberals really need to vote for the money for this reason.

Someone realizes that the border wall is an election killer.
The dems are toast if they don’t support it. If they do support it, they may hang on to some of their constituency.

We have the capability & capacity to occupy Mexico, declare martial law, and drive the cartel scumbags and the rest of the mojados SOUTH towards the Canal.
Can you imagine how easy it would be to eliminate this 3rd-waver drug-trafficking problem once and for all with a blitzkreig into that bottleneck? MS-13, Los Negros, Vatos Locos, Gulf, Juárez -- all jammed into about 20 square miles.
