Update at 1705 local Saturday. South Korea announces officially that the launch of these projectiles/missiles short range earlier today our time, constitutes a
violation of the September 19, 2018 North/South Korea Military Agreement that Moon worked out with the Norkies.

The Liberal Korea Party (opposition, but which is actually the CONSERVATIVE PARTY in South Korea) — Na Gyon Won (house speaker) condemned the launches and said they were a direct result of the current leftist/liberal Moon administration’s poor and weak North Korea policy and lack of resolve with North Korea, and this appeasement stance invited the North to do it today.

Thanks for clearing the situation up.
Appeasement NEVER EVER works.
At least not with the bad guys.

Neville Chamberlain comes to mind.

In a way it is no surprise. Three weeks ago, on the 11th, North Korea telegraphed the following that they were displeased and they were going to throw a tantrum. They start incrementally. So we can call the "projectiles", big deal, whatever, they get everyone's attention, violate the 9/19 treaty last year, but not enough to cause Trump to blow his stack. Though those who were in White House briefings today on this topic relate POTUS is "pissed. Like KJU had 'f''d him over." Other aides were keeping him from Twitter on it (you will notice he is quiet today so far, so he is restrained). When the Norks don't get what they want, they take it up another notch. Then it WILL go to short range missile, or maybe artillery barrage at Kalma like before...then up another notch. POTUS will NOT countenance this nonsense folks. Watch.
Anyways, back to what the Norks threatened last month:
As wind is bound to bring waves, the U.S. open hostile policy toward the DPRK will naturally bring our corresponding acts.

I usually don’t entirely agree with you, but frankly Kim is in very dangerous territory here, I think.
I understand his intentions, but he could (badly) miscalculate here.
Just my humble opinion.
He needs to climb down. Big time.

Its a trial balloon no doubt. If he is not careful, knowing how this President can go from hot to cold in his relationships and reverse on a dime, especially if embarrassed, is something they should consider.

I thought of mentioning him but FReepers like you don’t need to see his name to think of him in this context.

Is it just that isolated and not so isolated countries like Iraq, NK, Iran and others just don’t UNDERSTAND our incredibly and devastatingly superior military prowess or are they just stupid.
Not talking about occupations. Those are usually disasters.
I’m talking about war.
They don’t seem to grasp the enormity of the military they are dealing with and don’t seem to get that Trump isn’t just another president.
With regards to SK, I feel for them but Trump is the POTUS, not SK.
Whatever needs to be done in the end, must be done.

Gee, I wonder how much MONEY the DEMS had to transfer from offshore bank accounts to Lil Kim to get him to do this to make Trump look bad ?
