Dozens of supporters of opposition leader Juan Guaido converged Tuesday on the now-shuttered Venezuelan embassy in Washington, clashing with pro-regime activists who have been camped out at the building for weeks in support of embattled Nicolas Maduro.
.... In Washington, flag-waving and national-anthem singing demonstrators, many of whom were born in Venezuela, quickly outnumbered those from the anti-war group Code Pink gathered to support Maduro's regime.
.... "This group – the Code Pink – has taken the embassy," Gandullia said. "We want to enter. We want to take over. And demonstrate that it belongs to us." Activists from Code Pink, which protests U.S. support for Guaido, have been living and protesting at the embassy for weeks.

"Those people right there, they’re not Venezuelan. They don’t have a passport. They don’t have our IDs," ....

I even got to meet Laura Ingraham. She stopped by while we were protesting outside of “Cheyney’s House.”
Ah yes ... I remember reading the firsthand accounts posted on FR, of the serenading of the official Veep residence at the Naval Observatory: “Get out of Cheney’s House! Get out of Cheney’s House!”
Code Pink’s leader is also a founder of “Progressive Democrats for America.”

The CodePinkers inspired me to compose my own "ditties" in reply, but I didn't have the chutzpah, and likely the volume of voice, to do it. Also, things I create on the spur of the moment are seldom anything other than lame. I've met a tiny handful of people who can pull off instant, credible humor. I seldom can.
One of the re-written poems:
"Violets are Blue. Roses are Red.
Pink goes so CUTE with empty heads!"
Another one I thought of (last line to be said with anguish):
"Ladies! Ladies! I have here a telegram that has been sent to you by your mothers. Here it is:
Roses are Red. Violets are Yella.

That last one would have no doubt tarred me as a homophobic hater, even back in the era where 97% of the populace believed in or at least gave lip service to One-Man-One-Woman Marriage.
I take it the democrat DC officials are colluding with Maduro and Russia and have given the Code Stinkers an unlimited-term protest permit?
With the Democrats and with Cuba, Madero, and Iran.
Honest people can debate whether or not we should start a 6th war or so, and spend 6 Billion a year. But Who the hell would SUPPORT Maduro?
Interventionist or not, EVERYONE should want him gone. Only the method is debatable.
God Bless FR. If they can do this, to have another “freep” in the faces of the communists, why that would be just spectacular and would show to me that the FR I always knew is BACK.

Lots of Venezuelan’s in the Miami area. With this crap they should be voting for Trump en masse.
That does seem to be the plan. Rubio and Scott are hammering on this. And of course Democrats love Maduro.
In this photo I am seeing two important things.
#1. Code Pink has occupied the Embassy.
#2. The police are there to ensure they remain in possesion.
How can I know?
Imagine if a Venezuelan jumped that barricade and tried to go in.
Officer Friendly and Office Bull Dike (note the zip ties) would take them down and cart them away.

This was the Venezuelan embassy. Embassies are considered the soil of the country they represent.
