President Donald Trump filed a lawsuit Monday against Deutsche Bank and Capital One in an attempt to block congressional subpoenas for his business records, claiming House Democrats are simply attempting to harass him.
Politico reported that in a joint statement, Reps. Maxine Waters, D-Calif. and Adam Schiff, D-Calif., called the Trump suit “meritless.” They claimed Trump’s suit was a tactic to delay accountability. Waters is the chairwoman of the Financial Services Committee and Schiff is the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
Schiff said at the time that the subpoenas were part of an investigation "into allegations of potential foreign influence on the U.S. political process."

Trump is the best president in my 85-year lifetime.
He gave it all up for the Special Counsel. Now he’s playing hard ball with the congressional RATS.
I find it SHOCKING that any American citizen finds it necessary to hire legal counsel and sue his bank to protect his financial records. Especially from a non- judicial part of government with no criminal investigative authority. Congress not only embarrasses itself, it endangers us all by this attempted abuse.
For the House, if dragged into a court...they will have to explain to a judge what evidence they hold in their hand for illegal activity. That lawyer for the House committee will just be sitting there and grinning because he’s got nothing, unless they allow him to examine the banking records....to find something. It’s probably one of the most comical legal episodes I’ve seen in forty years.
They might be able to get at the IRS records, but these banking records will be near impossible unless they have some real evidence in their hand to start this ‘walk’.

I keep going back to the words of the much missed Andrew Breitbart, warning us that we will never win a game if we keep only playing defense.
At long last, we finally got it right and elected a President willing to fight and fight hard.

The Leader of the Free World need not be distracted or annoyed by the dems frantic, desperate, childish, vindictive antics.
Expect tv commercials from Capital One: “What’s in Trump’s wallet?”
It is time for Trump to appoint a special counsel to investigate democrat committee leaders and the attorney general of New York.
If they don’t a crime to investigate Trump, then Trump can return the favor.
Trump needs to start taking them down one by one
Dems don’t know when they lost.
To hell with them.
Why dont they try and stop the mayhem at the border?
They keep handing Trump issue after issue.
He should sue those people for harassment.
