They happily take members’ money, but I seldom see anything about them spending it to challenge the myriad of unconstitutional gun laws in many states.

Finding out whether LaPierre actually DID embezzle $200,000.00 to spend on himself seems to me to be rather important. It’s like what the monkey said when he’d pizzed into the cash register: “That’s gonna run into money!”

Welcome to the world. Anytime you have a big pile of cheese you will attract a few rats. But that doesn’t mean the whole thing is corrupt.

The NRA is facing scrutiny from New York’s attorney general over its nonprofit status.
IOW, there is no real problem with its status, the NY AG is engaging in a lot of lawfare. I'll predict right now that infiltration of the NRA by libs is the root of its problems. Thanks jazusamo.

I am a Life Member of the NRA.

HST, if certain NRA management types have been misappropriating NRA funds, they need to be exposed and prosecuted to the full extent of the law!

I just hope the NRA survives the internal turmoil and the NY state persecution - it is a tough situation.

Perhaps “The Nuge” can sort things out?

Somebody has to !

Just my 2cents...

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security
of a free state, the right of the people to keep
and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

a free state...This does not refer to a geo-political
grouping such as a State, which would be capitalized but instead to the state of freedom to an individual in the whole polis.
That of course is if the whole polis is to be made up
of free individuals.

Also the word SHALL in not be infringed, is declarative
as opposed to the word May which has been interpreted
to allow another entity to make a decision as regards
it’s infringment.

Also the number of commas plays a part and I have seen
as many as three in various renditions.

Personally, I think just one, after state would have been
sufficient. However, as a high school drop out, I may
be in error.

However, one thing I think WE agree on is that there is
NO DEBATE over there BEING a 2nd Amendment or it’s plain
meaning.

tet.

Demand resignation of entire board.

Then, Ted Nugent for NRA President.

My guess is that some NRA heads are gonna roll!

My hope is that the NRA will emerge stronger than ever and re-energized for the battles yet to come!

The LIEberals are intent on getting our guns, and are not willing to back down or compromise!

Hopefully, SCOTUS will rule in our favor and put the anti-American gun grabbers out of business before President Trump is through with them!

“As an NRA member, it has seemed for a long time (to me) that Wayne LaPierre has seen himself as larger than the NRA membership.”

If a person looks, he will see that every organization has people that belong to it, and people who think that the organization belongs to them.

These latter people need to be kept out of power, and if possible, out of the organization.
