If that is true, Trump is another Reagan. He makes a splash, slows the march to socialist tyranny, but his successors immediately return to the comfort zone. After Reagan left office progressives completely took over academia and the media and as a result the culture war was lost. Today we have gay marriage, women’s public restrooms open to men, after birth abortion, the removal of history, an assault on religious liberty, the silencing of free speech, and public trials of people in the media with no due process. Affirmative action has morphed into an all out assault on the white race. The “one time amnesty” and secure borders promised by Reagan transformed under his successor to open borders and millions of low skill, poorly educated illegal immigrants and refugees crossing the bordrers, overwhelming social services, and unlike immigrants of the past failing to assimilate. Lest we forget it was the two Bush presidents and Clinton who proudly enacted the one sided “free trade” legislation that resulted in the world’s most powerful industrial economy seeing its manufacturing base gutted in 20 years and the middle class struggling to cope with a declining standard of living.
If Trump has no allies, the same moderate country club Republicans who destroyed the Reagan revolution will gleefully work arm in arm with Democrats to undo all of the accomplishments of the Trump administration.
Trump ran for election claiming his Rolodex was filled with the best and brightest people in industry who would staff and energize the bureaucracy when he took office. These people have been noticeably absent and there is certainly no evidence Trump’s team is doing anything to weed out the socialists Obama put in place during 8 years of fundamentally changing America.

Those Russian operatives are all over social media including forums such as this one.
Steele is a British spy with deep ties to the US State Dept. Ukraine, and Hillary Clinton. In 2016 he was hired by the Clinton campaign to dig up dirt on Donald Trump. That dirt was then used to smear Trump in the press and launch a counterintelligence surveillance operation against him by the Obama administration.
Missing is any evidence that Russia was involved with the creation and distribution of the Steele dossier at any level, much less running the operation. So it seems you're a few fries short of a happy meal on that one sport.

Facebook determined that Russian spending for campaign advertising was in the thousands of dollars and that most of it occurred after the election was over. The material in the Steele Dossier came from the Russians. Who else could have possibly had it? The Clintons and the DNC paid the Russians through Steele. He acted as an agent passing along the information (or false information) the Russians provided him.
The Russians don’t need to pay for advertising. All they have to do is hire enough computer “essayists” to post on internet bulletin boards, comment sections and forums such as this one.

How do you explain the bulk of The Dossier material coming from Glenn Simpson and Mary Jacoby working for the Wall Street Journal (long before there was a Fusion GPS) as described by Lee Smith in Tablet Magazine?
The percentage amount of material in the dossier coming from either Simpson and Jacoby or Steele doesn’t matter. The parts they didn’t make up out of whole cloth had to have come from the Russians and a good part of that was made up as well.
The Russians, Chinese, North Koreans, Persians and various radical Moslem groups are not our friends and can’t be trusted. Anyone believing they are or are harmless takes naivety to the extreme.
