True.
There is land, north of the Ohio river, that is Kentucky.
I've read this this is off limits for now. Perhaps because of the bluff it is on overlooks Ft. Riley.
Maybe not marked; but you can be SURE we know where they are!
About 60% of our armed forces are National Guard both Army and Air. They are held to the same standards and are trained similarly. You insult a great many with your disparagement of NG, not military. Our ArNG and ANG get some old equipment, but are also issued the latest equipment. I speak from my 30+ years in the Air National Guard. You are misinformed.
The National Guard has been guarding your butt since 1635. They are soldiers and airmen and have special status that the regulars dont have. Posse Comitatus doesnt apply to the NG on state duty. Regulars are not allowed police powers in the CONUS. The Guard is not restricted by that Civil War Reconstruction era law when activated by their governors. My understanding is that the Guard are acting under state orders and are not federalized for this mission. Yet.
Next time Mexico, pulls a stunt like this we’ll finish what we started back in 1840’s.
Never slurred the Guard...spent 24 years in uniform and another 15 working with those in uniform...pointed out they were NG and that it would not make sense to become suicidal because of another’s comment...the other and I misunderstood each other as bad as you obviously misunderstood me.
Anyone really know what happened? As you can see by their fatigues and haircuts, they were obviously trained for close combat and not your typical Boatswains Mates. Were they even from a ship or a shore installation? I've Googled, but get conflicting reports.
No worries, it happens!
