The polls at this time mean very little. They will vary wildly, since they are based on fleeting impressions and unreliable emotional reactions.
But that’s what the parties use to decide what to do. They desperately want to regain power, and will do anything at all to get it back: they will lie, cheat, kill and steal. They would nominate a mass murderer if they thought that would get them elected.
