I think they bribed him by giving him a mansion
....and the fool took the bribe instead of a crack at the presidency.
Maybe the offer had an attachment he could not refuse.
The mansion could be afforded many times over with a simple speech tour post presidency.
Now he has a book out and has a bunch of money and at least 3 houses now

I was thinking that maybe Bernie should also consider making "Ol' Man River" (with new, customized, "Bernie" lyrics), his new campaign theme song!
