(snip) -- With the Mueller report coming out tomorrow, I suspect we are going to see direct testimony from people, perhaps including a White House counsel, who was not previously suspected of working against the interests of the executive – when President Trump waived executive privilege and encouraged all staff members to cooperate with the special counsel…

Another fascinating Sundance article, although I really have difficulty following the names of these rats. Must be my old age. What strikes me is how devastating the Magoo recusal was to DJT. He crippled Trump and #MAGA. That was a real shame. Also, I’m stunned that Comey and Dana Boente would both have actually signed off on a FISA warrant. I would think some layer of plausible deniability would have been built into such a request, but that turns out good for the GOOD guys. We need them placed before a GJ quickly. If they aren’t, the rule of law is gone and so is our political process.

The MEEK Jeff Sessions was clearly no match for the conniving confederacy of snakes running the DOJ and FBI efforts against Trump.

Bill Barr will be an ENTIRELY different matter...no meekness, gullibility and stupidity emanate from him as it did from Sessions.

If you want to hear more about this, listen to Bongino’s podcast from Tuesday. It’s a stunner:

There’s no question but that he’s a weasel.

Few at FR are ready to admit how compromised how many of Trump’s top WH hires have been.

Just look at the swamp creature he is. First, grew up in Atlantic City, where his uncle was the most connected lawyer in town. Himself grew up to work for the corrupt Patton Boggs between his Deep State appointments: Spent 10 years as general counsel to the NRCC. Named by W. to head the FEC. Etc.

Bongino had a little different take on Dana Boente. He is painting him as a bad guy who turned because he felt he was used wrongly. This is a snake pit. Need to reread.

Agreed. Dan Bongino’s discussion of Dana Boente is a most compelling one.

Out of 47 US Attorneys fired when Trump took office, only three were allowed to stay on...granted, one was Rosenstein, but one was...Dana Boente.

Listen to Bongino’s show. In it they talked about how there was an unnamed person involved in the FISA process who was persistently expressing concerns about the data and sources, and was assured and overruled though his name is on the FISA.

Dan Bongino thinks that person was Dana Boente.

The guy may indeed be a snake in the grass. But he apparently knows everything behind the scenes, and it is possible he feels betrayed and misused.

We should keep an open mind here.

“What strikes me is how devastating the Magoo recusal was to DJT. He crippled Trump and #MAGA.”

Trump and #MAGA are far from devastated or crippled.
The mere fact that he has survived the coup attempt against such overwhelming odds is a huge upset victory.

Consider the staggering forces arrayed against Trump and #MAGA:

A shameless conspiracy between globalist agendas in the legislatures of BOTH major political parties and powerful corporate interests. The illegal political weaponization of counter intelligence departments and agencies by a thoroughly corrupt Obama administration. The utter partisanship of the MSM, Hollywood and Academia, which sold out to the Left long ago. The socialist leanings of a huge parasitic deep-state bureaucracy, which resists true #MAGA reform at all costs. A Leftist and activist Judicial branch which thwarts constitutional limitations on government rather than protecting individual liberties. The #MAGA agenda is based on returning the reigns of power to the American people. All of these interests thrive when a bloated and corrupt federal government holds the reigns of power - why would any of them want to let Trump #MAGA?

All of these forces were determined to destroy Trump and #MAGA, yet he appears unfazed, and poised to easily win re-election. The RussiaGate scandal has failed. The MSM is less trusted by the public than a used car salesman. Trump has been quietly and relentlessly stacking the courts with conservative judges. The economy has enjoyed a period of sustained growth and jobs creation as a result of Trump’s America First policies. His support among blacks, women and even Hispanics has RISEN. The world has not blown up under his watch.

Yes, President Trump himself has said he was disappointed in Jeff Sessions for recusing himself. But you can’t blame Sessions for devastating and crippling something that is neither devastated nor crippled.

Moreover, despite President Trump’s public expressions to the contrary, his actions (or lack thereof) have always been entirely consistent with Sessions’ recusal. President Trump, to this day, has always maintained a strict hands-off policy toward the Mueller investigation and towards prosecuting Obama co-conspirators. He has always said he won’t get involved. Yes, we all remember his wonderful debate zinger - “because you’d be in jail” - but has he ever lifted a pinky finger to put her in jail? No, he obviously wants to focus on #MAGA, not “lock her up”.

Not getting involved is proving to have been exactly the right play. I believe having a recused AG all that time was a deliberate and essential part of that play.

I want the FBI disbanded and sent to the dustbin of history. I want the truth to come out, all of it.

Without convictions and prison time for the conspirators, the rule of law, as it pertains to our elites, is meaningless.

We are sick and tired of being played! Now we want justice, real justice! They all need to go to jail or our system means nothing.

If anyone was serious about preserving the country they would acknowledge these institutions cannot be saved and like a cancer must be removed to save the patient.

We have become lawless.

Yes I can. The coup is ongoing, and far from over, and that doesn't address the danger he placed both our nation & DJT in personally. I'd lean toward Magoo being a coup plotter himself but I think it's a more a matter of him being an incompetent, having lived in the Swamp for far too long. I'm glad he's gone and so sorry I once held him in high esteem.

Nice take, 9YL. As always, Trump is hugely underestimated.
We may even find out Sessions was "Held Back".....until Donald got all the info he needed.

CASE IN POINT--Some have conjectured candidate Donald knew that the Obama-era crud were trying to stop him.....b/c he won anyway.

Did Donald leak tidbits like "I got low polls in Michigan and Wisconsin" that lulled hillary into complacency.......so she didnt campaign there?

You know....cute stuff like that.....which the stupid Obama cabal drank up like it was Napoleon brandy.
