What does healthcare say to those who say "My body, my choice."
Gun violence research at standstill due to lack of federal funding...
Answer: There is.
There, I saved them a lot of money.
I can save them a lot with car accidents too.
There are.
And stabbings.
Right again.
etc.
The ONLY reason the ‘rats want gun ‘violence’ researched is to find therein a loophole to declare ‘gun violence’ a public health hazard so to regulate them in the interest of public health.
Any time you see "research" it means tax money to fund some pointy heads to confirm "conclusions" which were already predetermined.
Today no one does research without deciding on the outcome before even starting. It goes without saying that ALL the money is allocated to leftist organizations and professors with an agenda and an ax to grind.
Great news! Thanks for posting.

Winning.
5.56mm
-it shows that "gun violence" is overwhelmingly concentrated in a certain "minority" and is mostly directed at this group by its own members---
That puts hospitals, a major stakeholder in the epidemic of gun violence,
...
What epidemic?
A standstill, huh?
Gee...
That’s shame. /s
Wonderful! Don’t need it!
Nah. I think I'll pass.
For most academic researchers they are paid a salary that allows them to devote their time to whatever research project they want to work on. What's stopping the complaining researchers from using their own time to do the research?
The answer is simple - you don't do fake science unless you are getting paid for your results.
“I cannot overstate the impact of lack of funding from Congress, said Dr. Megan Ranney, director of the Emergency Digital Health Innovation program at Brown University.”
Translation: Dr. Ranney isn’t sure she can buy a new 2019 C 300 Mercedes Sedan without the government stealing money from her neighbors.
Dr. Ranney has never worked an honest day in her life and wants to suck the blood from your family.
When you get shot, it hurts.
There you go, free advice.
What is gun violence? I have owned dozens of guns over a period of 45 plus years and never once has a single one of them been violent. I have never in my life seen a gun be violent. I have seen human beings use a gun to be violent. Maybe they should study that!
