Worst idea ever - lefties will take it over, and when they are done, the US Constitution will become a living document resembling the Russian Constitution during the USSR period.
You imagine that there are “safeguards” to prevent such a thing, but while you are busy going to work, the lefty trust-funders who do not have to work will be huddled with their slimy lawyers finding loopholes and other ways to nullify the “safeguards”. The repeal amendment needs a provision to prohibit political party support for federal lawmakers and POTUS.
Another provision is needed requiring prospective candidates for federal office to prove knowledge of the following excerpts from Thomas Jefferson, congressional record, and SCOTUS case opinions in order to actually become a non-political party-supported candidate.
