“So the GOP has something against black men?”

No. Remember, Clarence Thomas was confirmed for SCOTUS.

Just some Republicans are stupid, Thomas is too conservative and sensible for them.

I like Cain, but I don’t really see his qualifications for this particular position.

As corrupt as the Senate is I have little doubt some crooks were worried Cain would be interrupting their loot train and pulled the leash on the Senators they owned.

"I like Cain, but I don’t really see his qualifications for this particular position."

From Wikipedia:

"Cain was chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Omaha Branch from 1989 to 1991. He was deputy chairman, from 1992 to 1994, and then chairman until 1996, of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City."

Flake wasn’t as bad as Romney.
Romney is and always has been worse than McCain.

Typical. The GOP couldn’t come together if their lives depend on it. Their political careers DO hinge on it, and they still can’t do what’s right. Dirty scumbags, the lot of them.

That’s not really what he does. He always endorses the candidate he views as most likely to win in the general, whether he likes them or not. He didn’t necessarily love Luther Strange, but he saw Moore as a candidate with a tougher path to the senate. It turns out he was right. I’m sure he knew McCain was a snake when he endorsed him, but an R helps him much more than a D just because of having a majority.

Romney took a dive in 2012.

Maybe he found a horse head in his bed.

Romney’s job in 2012 was to block a Conservative from getting the Republican Nomination.

Mission Accomplished.
