Barr: You bet I’ll be looking into how this Russia investigation started
Hot Air ^ | April 10, 2019 | Jazz Shaw

[snip] But(as John discussed last night), there was one moment where something unexpected happened. Following a question from Congressman Robert Aderholt (R-Alabama), Barr calmly announced that he would be looking into the origins of the Russia investigation and (whether the entire premise of it was legitimate or not.) This seems to go deeper than a simple clean-up operation following a long investigation and it’s taking the story in a direction the Democrats definitely don’t want to go. He plans on expanding upon the previous work done by IG Horowitz. (From John Solomon writing at The Hill)

Barr made clear Tuesday that his review is distinct and more far-ranging than IG Horowitz’s investigation. It goes back to the moment when a probe code-named Crossfire Hurricane was opened on July 31, 2016, by Trump-hating FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok.

John Soloman has been on this political hatchet almost from day one (here is his very interesting site) and I might add, factual, no fake new here.

President Trump said it was a witch hunt from Day One. I'd say he got his first big "bump" from the Comey meetings...when Comey said the President asked for loyalty....

I believe President Trump was referring to Hillary (not some...."obedience to the President" which Comey inferred......since Comey's wife and daughters were DEEPLY involved with the Hillary campaign.

Barr’s most telling comment, for someone who tends to be very understated, was his “open question”:

Why wasn’t the Trump campaign advised, as FBI guidelines require, that the campaign was being surveilled?

Especially WHY, when former federal prosecutors Giuliani and Christie, were working for the Trump campaign????

Comey, ya gotta problem. Obama, this happened on your watch.

Ever wonder what happened to General Flynn? Perhaps, with a bit of luck, the entire FBI coup operation is blowing up on the traitors who engineered it.

Contreras’s appointment to the FISA court in 2016 for an eight year term should be a subject of discussion.

Contreras has some splainin’ to do.

Would it be polite to take odds on who will be the first to have a fatal accident or suicide?

Could be argued Seth Rich was the first fatality.

Too many people just repeat memes and made-up crap. Sessions said Huber was assigned “to work in tandem with the Justice Department’s inspector general to determine whether conservative allegations of abuse at the FBI and the Justice Department merit investigation”.

Remember that each IG has a restricted purview, Horowitz’s is to invesitage allegations of wrongdoing by employees of the Department of Justice, which includes the FBI. He can’t go outside of those boundaries like a US Attorney can, which is why Huber (and perhaps others we don’t know about) have been brought in to assist. There is no way anyone on FR or Twitter or anywhere else can possibly KNOW what the real inner workings of these investigations is, no matter how loudly and often they say they do. The hallmark of a professional investigation is absolute secrecy and confidentiality. The sad fact that we have become accustomed to gov’t workers who leak like sieves does not negate this fact.

Horozitz’s scope was employees of the DOJ. AG Barr is now expanding his “team” to look beyond those boundaries as well. Horowitz’ job is the hardest because he is having to investigate people who have access to the best information and tools with which to cover up their activities, and who have great latitude and discretion in doing their jobs. That’s why it will be far easier to nail a low level person than say, James Comey.

All good.

Good.

Go, Barr, get to the bottom of this.

I think they’ll find some Hillary lies.

The following scene is from the film, Enemy of the State, where the unlawful surveillance was discovered by superiors. Barr IS the admiral in this scene

Like the TV series, Person of Interest, which predicted government spying on the citizens, Enemy of the State, it turns out predicted the use of intra-governmental surveillance.

Do you hear that squeaky squitchy noise? No, that's not bernie combing his hair with a balloon again. It's the sound of hundreds of sphincters belonging to the top players in the obama admin clenching up in panic.

Just because McCabe, Strzok and Page ("in Andy's office") identified and decided to use this bright, shiny tool of a counter intelligence investigation that was so much less demanding to start than meeting the requirement of having a predicate for a criminal investigation, doesn't at all cover as legitimate, its use as a weapon for coup plotters to attempt to take out a candidate or president.

Their grasping at straws of incitement and poll-taking for a 25th Amendment solution, to which they could never legitimately be parties, reinforces the proper interpretation of this being a coup.

These mid-level FBI officials don't have enough skin in this game to make sense of their actions. It had to be a coup of wider involvement. As Clapper and Lisa Page suggested, it went in part to Barry. With millions of Hillary's money in the dossier baking, we can see her indelible fingerprints.

Sedition / Treason. Lots of guilty people.

Thinking one can hide invited foreigners' involvement through redactions is folly. Barr and other will be allowed to see the unredacted documents and prosecute as appropriate.

May should be out before the end of April. In any event, PDJT will get the last laugh on May's trying to take him out.

We must return to a single-tiered justice system or this country is finished. PDJT certainly knows this.

I predict executions. Several.

Ha!

No matter how ya shake it, the Comey and conspirators look like they were baiting the Trump campaign and secretly fishing for dirt.

That’s why the FBI is so practiced at warning campaigns, public officials, congressmen, etc. when foreign nationals are attempting contacts, surveilling, or in any way cozying up to them.

They warned Feinstein when she hired a Chinese plant.
