Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has solidified a fifth term in a nail biter election against Benny Gantz. At 2 a.m. in Tel Aviv, Netanayhu gave a few brief remarks, thanked voters and kissed his wife.
An understandable very jubilant and happy PM @netanyahu now in Tel Aviv, after polls indicating he will win another term. #IsraelElections2019 pic.twitter.com/TcC4amicXY Arsen Ostrovsky (@Ostrov_A) April 9, 2019
After Channel 12 updates exit poll from 37-33 Gantz to 35-34 Netanyahu, the left is left with hardly a prayer. It is an extraordinary triumph for Bibi and a crushing, deflating moment for his critics and opponents. Chemi Shalev (@ChemiShalev) April 9, 2019

Some Netanyahu victory party attendees were seen waving Trump "Make America Great Again" flags.
Waiting for Prime Minister @netanyahu to give his victory speech (according to most polls now, hes in the lead), pretty amazing to see #Trump flags being waved, amongst the Likud banners @POTUS pic.twitter.com/BIy1bakEPO Jonny Daniels (@MrJonnyDaniels) April 9, 2019

Already saw him dressed as a nazi on my FB feed.
Sometimes people amuse me. Sometimes they disgust me. This time it was both in one hit.
this coalition is a bit confusing. How has he won if he has 42 days to form a government?
The corruption of the media seems to be global.
Not really. He has to form a new government (I think)
The Trumpian Way is going global. soros and his band of fascist technocrats in brussels hit hardest.

Israel: Israel has a population of 8.7M and a land area slightly smaller than New Jersey. It is 75% Jewish and 20% Muslim and (remember, lest you have been hypnotized by Ilhan Omar) a first-world democracy. The 120-member parliament, known as the Knesset, is elected by simple national party-list proportional representation with a 3.25% threshold. Israel has a very fractious party landscape; only once has a party ever held an absolute majority, for just 9 months back in 1969. Thus, coalitions (in many cases of a huge number of parties) are a constant. Of note Israel polls are generally reported by seat count, not vote percentages, so dont get those confused.
This year, there are two major parties and 12 minor parties. Incumbent longtime PM Benjamin Netanyahu is standing for re-election as leader of Likud. Likud is Israels longtime main center-right force. It is an economically liberal, moderately traditionalist, and hawkish-on-security party quite similar to American Republicans, with its main constituency being those who are secular to moderately religious but staunchly Zionist. Likud has long been dominated by Netanyahus large personality during his decade as PM, which could be a double-edged-sword this year.
Netanyahus hawkish and economically liberal policies have essentially completely won the war of ideas with the Israeli electorate and enjoy broad popular support. However, he himself is a polarizing figure for a hard-charging style, some corruption allegations, and simple Bibi fatigue after a decade in power (plus three years as PM in the 90s before that, not to mention his time as a high-profile minister and opposition leader in between).
Likud has generally been polling in the high 20s by seat count. Likuds main rival is Blue & White, a new liberal centrist party formed by the unlikely alliance of upscale centrist former journalist Yair Lapid and populist-centrist former general Benny Gantz, with a small Likud splinter group thrown in for good measure, mostly united by personal antipathy toward Netanyahu. Lapid and Gantz will alternate as PM if they oust Netanyahu and, underscoring the personality focused nature of the election, have all but promised to keep his policies in toto with a new face. Blue and White is targeting secular middle-class to upscale voters, and has generally been polling marginally ahead of Likud in the low 30s, though there is still a chance Likud could narrowly come out on top.
Bibi hater Obama must be really upset. :-)
What great news. I’d give anything if we get a similar headline come November next year. The narrowness of Trump’s victories in PA, MI, WI, and FL have me so worried. We are up s**t creek without a paddle if the Democrats win next year.
“The corruption of the media seems to be global.”
The swaying of public opinion has been around since the first printed matter was peeled off the Gutenberg press. It just happens to be so obvious to us now because the globalist elite seem to be unified.
It’s up to Americans to choose their own fate.
We have a lot of incredibly dumb people in this country.
