Former Secretary of State John Kerry was on Capitol Hill Tuesday morning testifying in front of the House Oversight Committee about the "threat" of climate change.
He presented the typical fear mongering argument about the world ending if we don't do "something" to stop it and advocated for massive government intervention to "fix" the problem.
But during an exchange with Republican Congressman Thomas Massie, Kerry got tripped up on the facts about how much CO2 is really detrimental to the environment.
Notice how Kerry attempted to end the conversation by saying wasn't "serious." Massie simply pointed out CO2 levels were much higher before humans made their way onto the planet. A serious, relevant, historical scientific fact.
Then, Massie went after Kerry's credentails on the issue.

It’s always funny to watch pompous dumbasses make a fool of themselves. Would not be as funny if he were not so pompous.
In the past, doomsday has always been 10, 20, 30 years in the future, so the theory could not be falsified. The problem is that for several years CO2 levels have been well above historic norms and according to the “models” temperatures should be soaring. But they’re not.
Kerry should have called him a “White Nationalist”.
Over on Twitter they are slobbering all over Kerry, heaping praise on this wise man.
Good grief, there are some challenged people in this nation.
Destroyed? So we’ll never see him again? Hyperbolic headlines are not a good direction for this site.
Some issues which people pushing global warming and the Green New Deal never talk about:
1. The earth’s climate has changed many times in history. What is the optimal temperature or climate we should strive for? And how do we know we have enough control over things to make it happen anyway?
2. How much change in climate, is due to man, and how much is due to natural cycles which we can’t control? There have been numerous ice ages in earth history, and every single one ended due to periods of global warming. So global warming can be a good thing.
3. What is the point of our doing the Green New Deal here in America, adopting all of Ocasio-Cortez’ planks, when other countries, such as China and India, continue to spew the dreaded greenhouse gases into the air? Isn’t it quite possible that even if we do everything Ocasio-Cortez wants, that all it would do is cancel out some of the worst coming out of industrializing countries such as China and India? But this is a worldwide problem, not a United States problem.
I would love it if the enviro extremist types would address issues such as this.
just imagine if this imbecile won over Dubya. Makes on shudder..
Thanks for this post and the video links.
Kerry is such a DOOFUS!
“.....Amazing the level ignorance that can attain such high office. ....”
In the 2016 campaign Trump pointed out in several speeches how we are governed by the stupid! Kerry is exhibit A
Of course it begs the question about how a state with such advanced educational institutions as exist in Massachusetts can be so full of such people who are taken in by the Kerry, not mention the decades of the Kennedys and everything leftwing!
Before man CO2 was at a higher level of toxicity, but it didn’t matter because man wasn’t there, causing the toxicity that would kill man after he arrives and raises the levels to cataclysmic levels of toxicity.
can’t we all just have a consensus on the fact that we need carbon levels in the atmosphere to survive.
Squaw now up to 676” for the season!
And April ain’t over. Just a coupla weekend storms and...700”
Still snowin’ out there, Johnny!
There was some verbal jousting, but “Destroyed”? Hardly. If that were the case, Kerry would have broken down in tears, stood up, and slunk out the room with his tail between his legs. Hyperbolic headlines are the bane of the Internet.
Just what is this “something” we are supposed to do about climate change? And how do we measure the effectiveness of this “something”? Is there some kind of cost/benefit ratio that is within the parameters of what we can do?
This would not pass the smell test at the Corps of Engineers. At least they demand a plan with defined objectives up front.
Kerry is the poster boy for Pompous Ass.
He is NOT to be questioned, doubted, or chuckled at. NO! (But he can do that all day long to others.)
I hope he gets thoroughly humiliated one day soon. Ill send him a purple boo boo bandaid.
John Effin’ Kerry explains climate scientology perfectly.
I believe in his case it should be arogantcept.
Yeah, only virtually, not actually.
