Bay Area congressman Eric Swalwell on Monday became the latest person to join the incredibly crowded 2020 Democratic presidential race.
His primary policy message of the campaign will be gun control, and he's proposing a mandatory buyback of "military-style semiautomatic assault weapons."

"And it would be a short war my friend," Swalwell responded. "The government has nukes. Too many of them. But they're legit. I'm sure if we talked we could find common ground to protect our families and communities."
Give up your 2nd Amendment rights or we will nuke you and your family.
Ah, try it dumb*ss.
15 million? Probably 10 times that the way they define them.
Next we can outlaw knives the way the UK is doing. and acid and baseball bats.
How bout we outlaw abortion? More innocents are killed that way.
mandatory buyback of “military-style semiautomatic assault weapons.”
No. Your move, Congressman.

“Sell me that AR15, or I’ll nuke you.”

Hey, eric, you nitwit. Just maybe no one wants to “sell” them. Have you ever read the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution, you useless fascist wannabe?
Now I'm convinced he's simply delusional.
Another one for “The Who?” ticket
I took my kids to a petting zoo the other day and noticed something. Cows have the most vacuous eyes. There is literally nothing three but a look of am I steak yet? And then there is Eric Swallwell or small dk or whatever his name is. I watch him on tv and see the vacuous look in his eyes and I am forced to re-think that maybe the cow isnt that stupid after all.
Or just nuke the people who have them.
Hey, Doofus. The Government never owned them in the first place.
“Buy back” Now there is an interesting turn of phrase. Implies that the original “seller” will pay the owner a sum of money for the gun. But, the original seller was not the government.
And: Is this a freely entered bargain between a willing seller and a willing buyer? I could get behind that, I guess. If they meet my price, I suppose I could sell one, maybe two guns.
A Democratic politician that thinks the use of nuclear weapons on Americans that disagree with him is legitimate? Why am I not surprised?
How do you ‘buy back’ something you never owned to begin with?
Banning them would drive the price right through the roof. Those willing to sell them wont be selling them to the government. Its the law of supply and demand that the liberals cant comprehend.
You sound insane to say the US governemt could use nukes against the people. You sound like you have a screw loose. What would be left to govern? Think about what you are saying for one rational moment.
