Beto O’Rourke saw firsthand what it's like to be just another presidential candidate during a sleepy town hall event Sunday afternoon as the enthusiasm and star power he sought to generate hit ground truth in Iowa.
O'Rourke, 46, a former Texas congressman, started 30 minutes late, and the University of Iowa student union ballroom remained less than half filled as the candidate gave his pitch to fewer than 120 students, families, and retirees before taking questions. Many of those were not committed to O'Rourke.

Local media in Iowa hyped Gillibrand to no effect, and they’re hyping O’Rourke with the same outcome.

So the top two candidates are a psycho who really just ranted and hated and never worked almost up until he became senator and another likes to fondle the breasts of 6 year old girls.
That sounds about right for the dems.
Beto needs to push his arm flapping up to hyper speed with hyper-extensions.

He’s last month’s flavor. A fake Mexican who kind of looks like Bobby Kennedy and flaps his arms around while saying nothing can’t compete with a gay red diaper baby mayor. Buttigieg may be white but he at least belongs to one of the Democrats’ favored identity groups. Maybe it would help Mayor Pete if the State Department officially ruled that Malta is an African country.

They totally buried the lede...this was in Iowa City, home of the University of Iowa and an huge bastion of liberality!
