He and Israel are in my prayers every night.

Obozo interfered with Bibi’s re-election (and probably still doing so). That means he’s my guy.

Now the pollsters have to put out the real polls.

What’s his or his wife’s status on the charges in the news about six weeks back?

I like the guy, but I thought he was in some trouble.

Was that just fake news?

Bibi may be the Killary of Israel, except that she was never president (thank God!)

She was just a “sure thing,” like Bibi is now.

But Benny Gantz is not a bad guy.

He might win, just like Trump won, but he’s no Trump, don’t get me wrong, please.

I have mixed feelings about Moshe Dayan. He was clearly secular and gave away the Temple Mount administration to the Muslims. He should never have relinquished one square inch of Israel.

That’s hopeful, some new “centrist” assholes were threatening to win (with the left) over the Bibi Block. It’s going to be close. This poll projects 64 seats for the good guys and 56 for the bad. Party list proportional representation.

I’d probably vote for the New Right party were I an Israeli.

Are they fine and dandy with unlimited taxpayer funded abortion on demand, and letting the Gaystapo dictate policy, as the "conservative" Likud party is?

I don’t know, their website is in Hebrew. The letters all look alike to me.

Looking at the political parties in Israel, apparently the ONLY way to get an ACTUAL Conservative-by-american-standards candidate (fights the left's efforts to turn the planet into Sodom & Gommorah, opposes big government & the welfare state, and and tells the Islamofascists to go screw themselves) would be to vote for the "Ultra Orthodox", "National Zionism" and "Far Right" Religious Parties ("Far Right" in Israel apparently means what it does in Brazil... mainstream conservative Reagan-type ideology)

Which would be a little awkward for me as a Catholic to have to try and elect a bunch of hardcore Hasidic Jewish rabbis just to get a decent government in place.

I like Netenyahu, but he has become too much of a one-note "Iran sucks" politican, and his party Likud is lousy lately and seems to be Labour-lite to me. They seem more like Mark Kirk than Ronald Reagan. At least that creepy "centrist" combiner party Kadima is apparently as dead as its founder.

Mostly correct. Netanyahu is closer to Mitt Romney than Ronald Reagan. But note that the religious parties in Israel aren’t really free-market capitalism proponents. And also note that there is a huge difference between Religious Zionists and Ashkenaz and Sefardi ‘ultra Orthodox’.

Polls after last Friday are illegal in Israel. No last day push polls.

Yeah if your talking about social conservatism, it seems only the religious parties really are. But they might not be so conservative economically or polically sensible. Whatareyougonnado. Jewish Home wouldn’t let a Sepahrdic Soccer star be a candidate, that’s part of the reason it’s leaders bolted to form New Right.

Kadima is gone but there are new “centrist” assholes called “Blue and White”. And Tzipi Livni is still around with a new party.

We can’t let them, or more importantly Labor and the Arab parties they would depend on to govern, to gain power.

>> And Tzipi Livni is still around with a new party. <<

Tzipi Livni

Political Party
1999–2005 Likud
2005–2012 Kadima
2013–2014 Hatnuah
2014–2019 Zionist Union
2019 Hatnuah

Geesh. How long will her latest party affiliation last? She reminds me of that guy who ran against Jesse Jackson Jr. as a Republican, Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, AND Green Party nominee.
