As The Daily Wire has reported before, Israeli Prime Minister faces next week what is likely his toughest election yet. For starters, as The Daily Wire reported in February, he is now under formal indictment: On Thursday, Israeli Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit announced that his office would be formally indicting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on one count of bribery and two counts of fraud and breach of trust. The indictments pertain to three different cases that spanned two years of investigations.
The timing of the indictments gives off the perception of potential political motivation — Israel will hold national elections on April 9, and Netanyahu is currently triangulating an episode of turmoil and pushback that has followed his controversial decision to welcome fringe party Otzma Yehudit into his possible right-of-center governing coalition. ...

I keep thinking that the Israelis would have to be flaming crazy to harass or unelect Netanyahu out of office. And then I remember that we have 30 to 40% of the population in the United States that wants to destroy everything that we have, as well.

I always feel Israel is in good hands with Netanyahu in a position of leadership.
Bibi managed to win even when the Obama administration colluded to effect the Israeli elections. Funny how that never made the front page of the NY Times or the CNN/MSNBC talking heads.
Israelis are tired of Bibi, but it looks like Gantz didn’t run such a great campaign. Netanyahu will likely face another long agonizing effort to build a ruling coalition. Like 2015, the government won’t be set until just before the deadline.
That said, something weird like Gantz making deals with reigious parties is always a possibility.
Obama will be crying tears into his pillow tonight because of this.

I remember how Obama insulted the Prime Minister. Hope he wins just to spite that SOB. He’s probably been with Merkel discussing how to divest more from Israel.
That’s why it cracks me up to hear them complaining about Russian meddling in the election. Like if they don’t meddle in Russian or any other elections.
Prayers up for Bibi and his party. I saw a video of his opponent trying to talk to some voters in a shop and they started chanting Bibi Bibi Bibi - sign.
