Well, I guess we need to allow for quadraplegic keyboard commandos like yourself.

I stumbled upon that article just recently while searching for something.
I found it interesting and had never really heard that theory. How
accurate it could be I have no idea. But it gives ideas about the
past that I’d never seen, heard or thought about.

“To try a border shut down right now, with courts full of weeping Wendys, is like trying to invade Japan with tanks made out of bamboo. Politics, as always, remains the art of the possible.”

That may be true. I don’t know the answer to that question. But I do know that he very vocally and specifically said that this is what he would do - next week - if Mexico did not change their policy.

Mexico said no. And Trump backs down within days. I ask you, who is strong and who is weak here? Who holds the winning hand? Trump folded, he didn’t think he held it in the face of Mexican intransigence. So why then did he make the threat? So vocally and publicly and dramatically make the threat?

If what you say is true, then Trump has transmitted his weakness and/or fakery to the entire word. That is beyond sophomoric. Is he just making it up as he goes and tomorrow he changes on a dime? That is no way to be the president of a great nation.

What you say is entirely possible and plausible. But that is even worse than the appearance on face value. If Trump knows that he lacks the political support to do anything on the border why then is he bluffing so obviously, arrogantly and publicly...only to fold immediately when called? If this is true - and I so desperately hope this is not true - then there is a part of what the Democrats say that is right about him: he doesn’t have the temperament for the job.

“This time he really means it” v.7.

If this is winning, I’ve had quite enough, thank you. If you’re not going to do something, quit making bold threats. At least doing nothing only disappoints supporters once.

President Trump warns Mexico to stem flow of illegal immigration or face tariffs in a few years or so perhaps maybe or something we’ll see just be nice.

I gotta tell you. I admire your loyalty to The Donald. A person in his (difficult) position needs a core of unwavering supporters.

But at the same time he needs a few folks to put up a fuss when they think he’s moving in the wrong direction.

My method is tweeting Trump and Don Jr. I figure they’ve got the sentiment analysis software to keep track of how people respond to them on Twitter...

Maybe he should reread Art of the Deal.

More Trump immigration bluster.

Except for reducing LEGAL refugees by 40,000 per year, Trump has no quantifiable achievements on the immigration issue.

Bottom Line....

Trump is the only “Republican” who can be elected President, so, there is NOTHING Conservatives can do about this.

This looks like a bluff that failed. I don’t know what transpired in between, but it probably looked like a bunch of facts and figures that Donald Trump didn’t know about.

Anyhow, it’s not an unrecoverable error, but mending it is going to take popular support. America’s rednecks may not have to go to the border, but they are going to have to do necessary things right where they are.

We need to turn Donald Trump’s position from Jimmy Carter to Ronald Reagan in the space of a year. And I believe it will start with much kneemail to God.

“We need to turn Donald Trump’s position from Jimmy Carter to Ronald Reagan in the space of a year”

Yes, that is a perfect analogy here.

Clever double-entendre.

Now if you can come up with something that is wise and not just clever, you will have begun to advance.

Right now all you do is chase your own tail, yapping in delight.

It's not a "flow of illegal immigration." It's an enemy invasion from a country just south of our border.

Declare. Target. Launch.
