I’m planning on the same thing when i retire, bTW, I’m working on finishing up a 36x36 garage/shop so that I can refinish furniture, build speaker cabinets, etc. Plus, I love working our property making walking and biking trails.
I’m also a musician and it’s fun to get together with others to jam or maybe do gigs here and there (I’m done with the bar band thing, though).
What makes it especially exciting for me is the elimination of not only the 8 hours of work, but the three hours of commuting. 11 hours a day devoted to making a living. Doing not what I want to do, but what someone else wants me to do. It’s golden handcuffs. But when I turn 66, that all changes.

But it could get interesting if/when the stuff about his son’s multi-million-dollar profits makes headlines (if ever). That was a direct result of Biden’s connections. It can’t POSSIBLY be legal, so I wonder how they will spin it.
