Both hubby and I agree with you. NASTY like Tofu. Which I can’t eat any way. THYROID patients are NOT allowed 2 foods Grapefruit and SOY.

Really I like food.
There’s only about a half a dozen foods I don’t like or won’t eat.
Don’t like snails, shad, limburger cheese
Won’t eat testicles, sperm, eyes,worm type bugs.

I used to hate avocados, and gagged the first time I tried one in college. Now I love them! DH thinks they’re disgusting and won’t even consider trying them.
