They want two years worth of registration money sooner, like the first two-years-at-once shot will get them. They have a lot of political capital to spend in the next 15 months.

They just raised the sales tax in many areas of the state, to pay for Cancer treatment, and some transportation causes.

Now they’re talking about charging anyone $4.00 who dares travel west from Los Angeles on the Santa Monica Freeway.

We all breathe. I can’t believe they aren’t taxing us for that yet.

Michigan did something like that with trailer plates.

The demonrat governor, Jenny Grandmole, thought she could cut a fat hog by doubling the price of trailer plates, but making them non-expiring.

Her reasoning was a survey that most people only keep a trailer 4-5 years before they sell it and buy new. Whatever people used to do, it is no longer the case

Now people keep trailers forever because the plates never expire! Home-built trailers are a hot item because it’s hard to prove what plate goes with what trailer. Now one non-expiring plate can be used on a half dozen trailers.
