This was NOT “euthanasia”. It was murder.
That haunts me to this day. Please let your wishes be known even with alternates if need be.
I remember when this happened. It broke my heart!
I’ll never let Jeb Bush off the hook for this atrocity.
14 years ago. Wow.
I remember the threads here. Some Freepers were pro-death, but not too many.
I remember Jeb Bush pretending to do something.
They murdered an innocent, needy patient for selfish gain. Where she happily is now they will never be. Ghouls.
“Where there is life, there is hope!” - Terri Schiavo
I stood outside that nursing home looking building. Every. Single. Night.
It was horrible feeling so helpless.
I’ll never forget and I will NEVER forgive that POS Jeb Bush for her MURDER!
Thank goodness she is at peace now, but it still STUNS me, every DAY, how the MIRACLE of LIFE is so conveniently and politically expendable!
*SPIT*
Hold your loved ones CLOSE! Get EVERY legal guard you can in THEIR favor - in the favor of LIFE!
I am going through this with my Dad right now as his POA for medical decisions. Gawd, it’s SO HARD! And our ‘politicians’ are so effing cavalier about it all!
I guess since the Kennedy Klan lobotomized their own SISTER for expedience, there was no turning back...
I HATE the world we’re living in some days. @#$%^&*!
Legalized government murder by judge.
Yeb! says it was “an act of love”......
Holy cow, FOURTEEN years already??? What the??? It seems like only last year. Damn, it is so true, the older you get the faster time zips by. I remember this like it was yesterday, the arrogant husband hellbent on killing her and the parents trying to keep her alive, and she end up murdered by one of the worst ways possible.
Boy was that a fight here whew
This showed the callousness of the state in thinking denying sustenance to someone was justified because death was euphoric...
Government is truly evil
Did her a$$hole “husband” ever let her family know where she is buried?
I mentioned Terri in a thread here just yesterday. We have tolerated abortion, the murder of Terri, an innocent invalid (and many others), and now we’re tolerating infanticide. We speak up, but that’s all we do, and it has no effect.
The murder of helpless people is now legal. We even pay for it with our tax dollars in some cases, and we do not withhold our taxes in protest.
The Founders resisted paying taxes for a breakfast beverage when they believed they were treated unfairly.
We have come a long way.
Bump
BTTT in memory of Terri Shiavo.
Wasn’t there someone here on the boards who was related to her, back then?
To this day, that poor woman’s death haunts me.
There are some things one never gets over, especially when its traumatic and unjust. You just learn to live along side of it because it never, ever goes away.
I do hope and pray her loved ones have found some semblance of peace in their broken hearts.
And I hope someday, when we all rise from the dead, that that family can all rejoice together.
