Pelosi, in veiled swipe at Omar, says anti-Semitism is 'un-American'

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif, Tuesday looked to distance the Democratic party from any suggestion it was anti-Semitic after freshman lawmaker Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., publicly criticized Israel and its leadership.

Addressing the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in Washington, Pelosi stressed that Democrats remain “relentlessly bipartisan” in support of Israel and that no one should be allowed to make it “a wedge issue,” World Israel News reported.

“From Israel’s founding through the present day, our pledge remains the same: Israel and America are connected, now and forever," she said. "We will never allow anyone to make Israel a wedge issue, to be anti-Semitic is to be anti-American.”

Pelosi’s remarks undercut fellow Democrat Omar, who has encountered a wave of backlash over repeated anti-Semitic comments.

Yup. Yesterday they royally p*ssed off their base by voting "present" on the Green New Deal. And now they are trying to drop impeachment, although Omar won't let them (the real reason Nancy is p*ssed). So the Dems are starting to come apart at all of their seams.

Yet within the next decade they could find themselves in power due to a burgeoning Free Sh*t Army in this country. The thought of such a dysfunctional band holding the levers of power is indeed terrifying.

The future of the Democrat party is antisemitic in addition to communist.

From a Quinnipiac poll released yesterday:

"Democrats are divided on the Mideast situation as 27 percent say their sympathies lie more with the Israelis and 26 percent say their sympathies lie more with the Palestinians, with 46 percent undecided."

"Overall, American voters sympathize with the Israelis over the Palestinians 47 - 16 percent, with 37 percent undecided. This compares with 54 - 15 percent sympathy for the Israelis over the Palestinians, with 30 percent undecided, in a January 13, 2017 poll."

Basically, Democrats are split 50/50 on the Israel/Palestine question, while the general population is split 75 Israel/25 Palestine. That suggests the pro-Palestine opinion is dominantly with the Democrats.

Also, realize increasingly the pro-Palestinian position has evolved from a two-state solution position to a pro-Palestine position.

At the Democratic Socialists of America convention last year, the members changed the genocidal eliminationist chant "From the river to the sea Palestine will be free!"

The DSA is the future of the Democrat Party. Right now, they are the canary in the coalmine, but they will likely be the kingmakers of 2020.

Pelosi knows the reliably progressive, but seemingly sane party she ran is not the future. The future is radical, and socialist to the point of being communist.
