Every year, hundreds of pregnant Russian women travel to the United States to give birth so that their child can acquire all the privileges of American citizenship.
They pay anywhere from $20,000 to sometimes more than $50,000 to brokers who arrange their travel documents, accommodations and hospital stays, often in Florida.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
How are these people under the jurisdiction of the United States. Can they be charged with treason, pay taxes sign up for the draft? And what state do they reside in?
The Chinese also have many “birth tourism” centers, some here in Queens. WHEN is the misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment going to be addressed? That will help tremendously with the illegals problem, taking away an important incentive. Denying any sort of benefit—not even a single cent—to these voracious greedy locust scum will also augment the wall in acting as a disincentive.

I never expanded NEARLY enough on my thoughts for you to imply that I thought this should be allowed and they should be allowed to vote.

What if the shoe was on the other foot? It should be simple for you to see it.
Yeah, I understand that some people would be biased that way ... but as for me ... I want consistency, and I want it consistent that there be no anchor babies, at all. I just don’t think it’a a good policy ... and furthermore ... I don’t think it’a actually “Constitutional”. From some of what I’ve read about it, there is a misunderstanding, legally speaking, as to its supposed ‘Constitutionality’. That’s the way I think about it ... but we’ll see what Trump does with it.

They never should have started. It was only started because of the question of freed slaves citizenship status. Once that was settled, it should have been erased.
Yup. When Congress changes hands, the most frequent outcome is merely an exchange of talking points.
We really need a case for scotus to rule on this monstrous anchor baby interpretation once and for all.
If Trump moves ahead with cancelling anchor babies, and then someone challenges it ... then the US Supreme Court can render a decision that says it doesn’t apply today, the way a lot of people think it does, and that it was only for the slaves. Trump should move on it now.
