My conclusion is that only people with the browser extension can see the Dissenter comments, and that is not what the article wants you to believe...
Yep, that's right.

You don't know what you are talking about. I have posted on dissenter and don't have a browser extension. I don't use a phone for internet, but I doubt any extension would be needed for a phone either.

OK. Doing a little more research it looks like there’s a web app you can log into and use to post and view comments in lieu of downloading the extension.

The article didn’t mention that.
