Cabinet revolts against Theresa May, UK media reports
Deutsche Weile ^ | 23 March 2019 | DW

UK media reported late on Saturday that Prime Minister Theresa May was facing a cabinet revolt and may have to resign immediately.

The move comes just days ahead of a planned third vote on May's twice-rejected Brexit deal.

What we know so far:

The Times political editor Tim Shipman said "cabinet ministers have turned on May in a spectacular fashion," and are pressuring her to leave, though she has still not made a firm decision to do so. He added that May's husband was one of the few urging her to try and stay on as prime minister.

Note -- Gove was a surprise Brexiteer who did stab first Cameroon and then Boris Johnson in the back. But he'd be better than Theresa -- my dead aunt would be better than Theresa....

I have some doubts that PM May has the votes necessary to agree to the mid-May extension idea. Some say if she sees a lack of support....she’ll ask the queen to dissolve Parliament and have an election in six weeks. I kinda laugh over the suggestion, but the reality is that no-deal is the only card left on the table. The fact that the Brit military is being told to prepare for a major period of chaos is a strong hint of things to come.

If this flips into some episode where a second public BREXIT referendum occurs, then no one will take serious the country itself, or the politicians running the country. Things will dissolve real quick under that scenario.

I recall commenting from the beginning that ignoring the 1922 committee’s request to attend a meeting was a quite cheeky thing for her to do...

I’m pro-Brexit - I bought a house near London because of it so am really very worried personally about the idea of it not happening as well as always being in favour of Britain leaving the EU politically - and I’d like to see Gove in Number 10.

Looks to me like the politicians opposing Brexit are pulling the same junk the Demorats do here.........wait and stall long enough, create enough chaos and confusion, and then go for the goal post again.

well, I'm pro-Brexit, pro-England and anti-moslem immigration. It's sad what your leaders have done to your country.

They voted it the first referendum. How would they explain why do they need another. Would they say you voted wrong and there is a chance to correct it? Ridiculous.

Yes, it's a reflection of the strange state of British politics and mainstream media that a leading member of the Conservative Party is actually a hard-left Socialist, as are most of the Tory party (if you look at what they vote for)!

The people voted for Brexit and the establishment refuses to implement it.

No different than the people voting for Trump and the establishment trying to undermine him.

I warned last year that the globalists were going to stall and go for another referendum. They are using every scare tactic possible to sway the electorate’s thinking in hopes they can win that second referendum and say “the people have spoken”.

Socialism rarely dies through voting.....it usually dies through violence and suffering.

This charade cannot endure. Soon the European elections will take place and the UK would still be in Europe but without reps.

Meanwhile Junker is hoping to reignite the Northern island trouble by making a point of using the Northern Ireland open border as a means to shove migrants into the UK.

They want it to be painful because all the others then would follow suit easily.

Meanwhile England has record unemployment since 1975! And a stock market that outperforms Germany which is about to hit a slow down.

Ef these people.
