(Tune actually penned by Russ Ballard, but Daltrey does a GREAT job with it.)
Working as a sheet metal worker by day.
The Who seem down to earth, esp Daltrey. Love ‘em.
He looks great because he’s a fitness nut. Always has been. Not a druggie ever.

I’m told by a little birdie that another geezer Limey band will be touring the US this year. They will be playing MSG in October. I can’t name them but their initials are LZ. You heard it here first.
Meet the boss same as the old boss
Newfound respect for the frontman of The Who 0.5!
Lol! Go Roger!
Best band ever.
IIRC he punched Keith Moon a time or two when Keith tried passing out some drugs before concerts.
The Who was one of my favorite bands and Who’s Next is one of my favorite albums.
One of the greatest rock groups of all time! Despite the millions of albums they’ve sold, they’ve never had a #1 single. In fact, the highest rated song they ever had was “I Can See For Miles” which reached #9 in 1967.....But then again, there was a lot of competition in those days.
Your little birdie is wrong.
He punched Pete and knocked him cold during the Quadrophenia recording sessions.
I saw The Who in the mid 70’s at Cincinnati’s Riverfront Coliseum.
When they were announced, 3 of them walked on stage but Keith Moon began tumbling across the stage to his drum set.
Incredible show!!!
A couple of years later when they played Cincinnati again, 20+ were killed when the crowd rushed the doors to get inside the arena.
I have a CDR burned direct from the studio master tapes of “Who’s Next” from a friend who remastered the album. He also included tracks from “Lifehouse” burned from the demo tapes, too.
Daltrey’s book is great.
He looks great!
