Very well written, articulate, makes a strong case and, on the face of it, how can anybody deny there is a crisis? Yet Congress dithers decade after decade.
I don't believe people are denying there is a crisis. There is. They know it. But they don't want Trump to change the status quo.
Once they give in to Trump and give him his money to fix the border, build the wall and stem the tide of illegals forcing their way over in caravans, not only will he have changed the system but he'll get credit for it. Big no-no.
They don't care about the American people like Trump does.
They have their own agendas, lobbyists and pocket books to think about. These people make big money off of illegal immigration. It's a thriving industry. Their decisions reflect that.
I'm just sayin'....
When dithering is the best response, look to the US Congress at any point in time. The job of Congress must be to dither.
