I believe everyone has a right to go to college, man. Don't really care what you believe. If you go to college, compete for a seat honestly like most students do. If it means you only qualify for Possum Trot Junior College, too bad. You probably should have studied harder in high school.

As I posted earlier this evening, this fella clearly demonstrates WHY young people will vote for Robert O'Rourke and Ocasio-Cortez. Those people REFLECT the vacuum of values represented by this young man and his parents in this post.

I’m starting to see a pattern here. Ambitious, busy, and wealthy parents. Attempt to use money to fix their failures as parents. children raised in wealth, without a lot of supervision or concern for academic achievement.

Re: If you go to college, compete for a seat honestly like most students do.
Good luck with that fantasy.
I’ll bet that 25% of the Freshman class at Harvard got in by claiming one of the Affirmative Action desks.
I’ll also bet that 100% of the students and parents involved in the bribery scandal are white, and the kids can’t get in to their first choice school because the white student quota has already been filled.

I’m looking forward to hearing how much money changed hands and from whom in order to get the dumb (low SAT) Hogg kid from Parkland into Harvard.

Smaller for sure! The one exception I remember (sort of...) was rolling up that monster paper that was included in one of Cheech and Chong’s album’s, somewhere around 1971 or ‘72.

I had to double-check that this wasn’t from The Onion or Babylon Bee.

People have forgotten it, but Cortez didn’t actually get many votes. There was a low turnout primary and the incumbent had not bothered to campaign (because Democratic party is not an organized political movement). She got less than 17 thousand votes and that was enough since that district always votes Democrat, so the primary was the real battle.
