Why bother? Just to show the world it’s bad there. It would be like Bush being nice to the lefties out there. Lotta good it did him.
latest:
1) looting is becoming widespread
2) the government has cancelled schools and business until at least Weds.
3) the US backed president has called for a protest tomorrow at 3pm
4) Maduro has given the green light this evening for his thugs to “take action”
5) reports are journalists have gone missing
6) lack of clean water is becoming a problem
7) still no power for much of the country, some are people get power back for a short while before it goes out again
This may mean Total collapse is imminent.
I think the bovine excrement is about to intercept the oscillating air mover.
Ping.
At the very least this is an action to prevent hostage-taking such as happened in similar revolutionary circumstances in Iran. And if the embassy is out of power the generators will only last so long anyway. If the thugs have been given weapons-free the ordure has already hit the impeller blades. Stand by for the spray.
Let’s withdraw our fighting men & women from Syria & Afghanistan. We have no wars to fight there. Our wars is here & we are losing.
“diplomatic staff at the embassy has become a constraint on U.S. policy.”
That seems to strongly imply military action.
The recognized President, Juan Guido, is now asking the US, France, Colombia and Brazil, who operate Naval Forces off the Venezuelan coast, to blockade Cuban support to Maduro.
The new anti-communist President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, is scheduled to meet with President Trump on 19 March, and a series of pretty big deals are being worked right now - big changes to Brazil’s trade relationships away from China and toward the USA, Defense and Space Program cooperation - and no doubt, coordination on Venezuela.
Meanwhile Maduro in the ultimate act of redistribution had routed a chunk of the nation’s gold to China where it awaits him so he can frolic in the sun in his retirement. Really hope he ends up swinging from a lamppost in Caracas before he rejoins his gold.
Venezuelas Guaidó mulls foreign military intervention for humanitarian aid (https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/venezuelas-juan-guaido-to-left-socialism-cause-of-humanitarian-crisis-as-he-preps-foreign-military-intervention )
Guaidó said he will invoke a constitutional article allowing the Congress to authorize foreign military operations to intervene in the countrys humanitarian crisis.
There is part of Article 187 of our National Constitution, which is not only for Venezuela, but it allows for an outside country to cooperate or to assist Venezuela in this sense,
Wide spread looting is causing more havoc in the capital City of Caracas and other parts of the South American country Opens a New Window. as conditions continue to deteriorate.
On kind of a fun note though: “Juan Guaidó invited Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) to see the humanitarian crisis for themselves.”
BUMP!
Ah the joys of socialism! Take note all snowflakes and tender little misguided brainwashed socialists it doesn’t work and it never will
Aww, but they didn’t even get to storm the compound and take hostages yet.
Any sane person that can should be getting the heck out of this socialist sh*thole.
The fruits of Socialism, they ran out of other peoples money to spend.
Why are they still there? So stupid.
