New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Monday that NYC's public schools will be going vegetarian one day per week in order to save the Earth.

Local New York media reports that the "Meatless Mondays" pilot program, which brought vegetarian meals to around 15 Brooklyn schools, will expand city-wide for the 2019-2020 school year, and "all schools will serve vegetarian menus on Mondays" to the city's 1.1 million students.

De Blasio told a press conference Monday that the change will help improve the health of New York's students, and will hopefully have an impact on climate change.

If you are going to do this, why not have meatless on Fridays? Huh???

I suppose the atheists, and Muslims would object if it was Friday.

Next, de-Blatz plans to proceed to "Transburger Tuesdays":

(By reducing the number of real hamburgers, these tranny-burgers might serve to cut back a tad on the volume and frequency of actual cow farts out in the fields, but, after eating these vegetal imitation phonies, the kids of NYC will be farting often and in unison, like several huge herds of bean-fed cows, more than reversing the reduction in cow farts!)

If I was at that age now, I'd be sure to bring in the meatball sandwich on vegan Mondays and get the other kids to launch a sit down strike against De Blasio's foolery.

. Bring a whole bag of them and sell them on the elementary school black market. Probably get $10 each.

I knew a vegan who’d order pepperoni pizza and toss the pepperonis in the garbage. Wow, talk about honoring the animal who died. She also loved pork ‘n beans never understanding why “pork” was on the label.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

More bad food chucked into bins. Didn’t we learn this with The Mooch? Libs never learn.

Now if the libtards were REALLY “all about the chillun’” they would realize that many of their bottom-feeding base are underfed on the weekends and therefore more in need of protein on Mondays and Fridays than other days of the week.

Meatless Wednesday?

Makes more sense but lacks the M & M alliteration.
