The point is about fairness.

Amazon is a marketplace.

It should be fair

A little vague, don’t you think? The theologians sometimes talked in terms of justice. It should be a “just” price, they said.

I've been listening to Dan Bongino's podcast using the Alexa Anypod skill,

the last two times it has repeatedly restarted the podcast from the beginning.

“This is asinine. Amazon isn’t a public entity. It can choose to sell or not sell whatever the hell it wants.”

So Amazon being “not a public entity” is exempt from public analysis, criticism and denunciation of it’s practices.

Got it.

The average mind is completely incapable of understanding the distinction between telling a person what he ought to do and forcing him to do it.

Under Stalin, nothing— fiction or nonfiction, written works, poetry, music, dance, film— could be seen by the public without first being submitted to communist party committees for approval. All art had to “serve the people” (the state) & be purged of political incorrectness. Writers & poets were routinely imprisoned & shot.
Hence the emergence of the “samizdat”— a flourishing literary underground. Works were surreptitiously copied & distributed by hand. Getting caught could be fatal.
It amazes me that so many in academia, the arts, & Hollywood support the very system that would steal their freedom & silence them.
As part of my prepper activities, I’ve amassed a pretty good sized library, focusing on books likely to be suppressed in the event of a communist takeover of the U.S.
Thousands of seminal works of western civilization, downloadable to kindle, can be found at The Gutenberg Project.

Here’s a book that Jeff Bezos approves of.

Tell that to any and all Christian bakers, who are not, by the bye, private entities profiting enormously off US Postal regulations on the taxpayers’ dime, and who are not refusing general service to anyone, but are refusing to publish (endorse) a specifc political message.

We have a Big Tech oligarchy that own our so-called representation, through legal donations and illegal bribes. We thus have... taxation without representation (where have I heard that before?).

This is not asinine, and I am not getting over it.

Amazon is not a private company; it is a publicly-traded corporation regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Nota Bene: IPO = Initial PUBLIC Offering. Operating in the Private SECTOR does not equal being a Private COMPANY.

This link shows where this book is available:

https://www.worldcat.org/title/mohammeds-koran-why-muslims-kill-for-islam/oclc/1001342097

Unfortunately, the book is only available at three public libraries in the US--in Lakewood, Colo., Hutchinson, Kan. and Laurel, Mont. Everyone should go to his public library and request that they acquire the book.
