When he failed to support Trump after Trump won the primary, I ended all support for Toomey. Didn’t attend the $250 dinner I’d bought a ticket to attend, and didn’t vote for him in the general.
He snuck by in the election, but didn’t get as large a percentage of the PA Republican vote as T.

Exactly. Like Senator Johnson he just won and could easily be a back bencher instead of openly opposing POTUS and the GOP platform he was elected on. But he just can’t resist flipping the bird at POTUS and doing the the bidding of K Street lobbyists. This won’t end well for the Party of Lincoln. Guaranteed.
