It would not take very many Trump voters to decide to sit home on election day for him to lose to a moonbat.

**************

Too often we are left with a choice between a Democrat moonbat and a lying fake Republican. We really do need a new party.

understand TRUMP is not the GOP

***************

And the GOP is not Trump. The GOP will never represent conservatives. It is an empty, soulless party devoid of any principles or convictions.

I wish Trump would start a new party. We desperately need one.

Well said. The only part I disagree with is calling them idiots. They are naive, weak, feckless and worst of all deceptive. But they are not idiots. They are cunning liars.

I will always remember hearing Toomey tout his vote for Lyin’ Ted Cruz in PA’s primary. It seems he’s still a NeverTrumper and doesn’t give a damn about what’s right for his state.

We definitely need a MAGA party that governs in the best interest of all Americans, we the people!!!

I suspect there are many, in both parties, on the take from China in one way or another.

*************

Pretty sure that’s true. Remember: they are there for themselves, not us.

The 30 year globalist experiment in “Free Trade” is an abject failure.

Yup. America took a thirty-year test drive, and in 2016 they handed back the keys and said “No Sale!”

The number of people who support “free trade” in this country is now a minority, and a shrinking one. Toomey is likely to find that out in his next race.
_____________

Globalism is just a redistribution program; its run its course now so on to climate change for redistribution of wealth.

A suggestion whose time has come! Time to abandon the sinking Republican ship before it drowns all of us.

Ya know, the more I think about your suggestion the more convinced I am that there is great merit to your suggestion. We desperately need such a GOP Wall of Shame. All the biggest transgressions, lies and deceit in one place for Republican voters to see.

I really think such a pantheon of unprincipled reprobates would be enlightening and serve as a deterrant to future would be scoundrels and betrayers of our trust.

I hereby nominate John McCain as the first inductee. Jeff Sessions as the second.

Is it that hard a concept to grasp that implementing temporary tariffs to get other nation to lower their’s, just might be a decent idea?

Some of us agree with that in principle.

But I've been saying for months that applying tariffs on two raw materials that are used by a lot of U.S. manufacturing companies -- while applying no tariffs on finished products -- is idiotic. In the case of Pennsylvania, it actually hurts the very manufacturing industries that we should be looking to protect.

You touch on a problem, that in some instances there are no solutions to. In your instance, it would seem there could be.

Farmers have had some negative impacts from the tariffs. In the long run though, these tariffs are intended to open markets to them.

Other nations will charge smaller tariffs, and that will allow their populace to import more of our farm products.

As president, it’s tough to always may equitable decisions, because you simply don’t know all the dynamics of the market place. His advisors and the folks who drafted the directives he signs should though.

I wonder what the incidence is of them giving him documents they know will cause problems, hoping to discredit him on the issue of tariffs, to teach him a lesson.
