Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is defending the FBI’s reliance on the Steele dossier as well as the bureau’s use of a confidential informant to make contact with the Trump campaign as part of an investigation into possible collusion with Russia.
In an interview as part of a recent book tour, McCabe disputed Republicans’ claims that the FBI misled the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Court about aspects of the dossier in applications warrants to spy on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

I think RR has blamed McCabe, which is why, perhaps, the 25th Amendment / wear a wire story was made public.
If these rats feed on each other in public, perhaps we will get closer to the truth of what they all did.
They knew Hillary would win. As such they went totally outside of all laws and did not care as with a Hillary win it would all be covered up. They were just making sure she would win. They did not care about their illegal actions as they knew full well “President Hillary” would squash any investigation and they would be secure as movers and shakers in the FBI, and the Justice Department.
She lost and thus to cover up their felonies was the “Trump Collusion with Russia scheme.”
Trump-Collusionary-Syndrome (TCS) has turned into a mental illness.
You're very close; you almost have it, but it has nothing specifically to do with Hillary.
This was their continuing behavior. There were not, and would not be, any investigations for Hillary to quash. It was just one 'rat administration handing off to another.
And then came Trump.
I suspect there are some dirty anti-Trump GOP characters involved too. Remember, RR and Mueller are "Republicans."
Do you think the FISA courts were also complicit?
From what I’ve read, the FISA was approved at the highest levels first and no one below bothered to verify it because the “boss” already signed off. RR signed off on it because people below him were suppose to make sure it was accurate. There was something fishy about the last FISA renewal. They renewed it about a month early before the new FBI director took office. Rumor has it, the stuff they added on to the last FISA had even more BS than the dossier.

Hey Andy, did DOJ follow the Woods Procedure before it included the dossier information into their FISA application? Of course they didn't, because the information in the dossier is unverifiable.
