“To me, that says both parties are doing a crappy job of serving the public.”
Yes, but I also think there are plenty of voters who don’t want to publicize their views...in blue states you don’t get the job, etc...

The problem with this survey is that many “independents” trend to the left.

I guess that infanticide and outright Marxism aren’t that popular with Americans.

The "open borders Neocons on this forum" are the lowest form of life there is. They are nothing but deep-cover neocon bastards.

Walk Away..... Dems have marched off the deep end, and are in denial about it

Democrats have lost one percent per year for the past three years. In 2015 the balance was 34-35-31. Independents have grown at the expense of both parties. I can only imagine that by 2019 the DNC will be down to 28 percent and republicans up to 33-34; everyone will need the independents or maybe the socialist camps will splinter and form coalition election parties with other groups.

Maybe not....I have twin boys that will turn 21 in June and they’re every bit as conservative politically as myself.

I switched from republican to unaffiliated before the 2016 election because I was disgusted with the republican establishment. It doesn't make any real difference anyway. I'll switch back when MAGA republicans have replaced the establishment republicans. The party is still dominated by the establishment, but we have no excuse for not being able to replace them when 80 to 90 percent of republican voters support the MAGA agenda over the establishment. The problem is getting people to actually get involved and vote in a primary race, and without Trump campaigning against them it will be still be hard.
Lindsey Graham is one of the republicans that should be replaced, but he's sucking up to Trump at the moment. He's never supported the MAGA agenda, and just wants to make sure he has Trump's support to get reelected. It's not a good time to remember for voters to remember his relationship with McCain, or that he never supported the MAGA agenda on foreign intervention, immigration, or trade.
