Remarkable when we factor in the 24/7, 99% negative "news" coverage on Trump, the blatant ongoing coup attempt from the FBI & DOJ (in the least), the nut bars in Hollywood and the subversives in the universities.

They should add two categories: Socialist and Conservative.

I’d bet money that a lot of Conservatives list themselves as Independent because they don’t like the GOPe.

And I’d bet that a lot of “Democrats” would gleefully list themselves as full-blown Marxist if they could.

I left the Rs after NAFTA. I’ve never voted for a D & never will. Today I’m a Trump voting independent, who will vote for Rs as long as they help DJT. I’ve always cringed at those who believe independents are moderate. Not in my family.

I am unaffiliated, where is my side? I did not leave the goop they left me. Lard boy Chris Christy paid $175,000 on an attack ad on Tom Tancredo, a conservative. John Hanoi Kerry called all Viet Nam veterans baby killers and war criminals so both parties owe major apologies.

Look at the rise in independents. To me, that says both parties are doing a crappy job of serving the public.

I don’t know how anyone can vote for Democrats. They hate anything decent and good in this world.

Sane people walking away from the Democrat Party of AOC.

I suspect we have 7 to 10 years until enough of us to die and everything flips.

As Occasionally-Coherent and Bernie pull Dems to the left, Independents will move to the right. You go, socialists.

You would be correct, although until Trump disproved their bullshit by being elected the open borders Neocons on this forum were very adept at claiming such people didn’t even exist.

The I’s have grown enormously taking in most of the disgruntled, moderate Dems. Two-thirds of the I’s are in Trump’s corner.

Poll shows ‘dramatic shift’ in Americans’ attitude toward abortion

The raging debate over late-term abortion, sparked by new laws in New York and Virginia that sought to guarantee abortion rights should Roe v. Wade be overturned, has pushed more Americans into the pro-life camp, according to a new poll.

Barbara Carvalho, who directed the new Marist poll commissioned by the Knights of Columbus, a pro-life Catholic organization, said the numbers showed “a dramatic shift” in attitudes about abortion policy.

“Current proposals that promote late-term abortion have reset the landscape and language on abortion in a pronounced — and very measurable — way,” Carvalho said in a statement on the Knights’ website.

The survey showed that Americans were now as likely to identify as pro-life as they were pro-choice, with both at 47 percent.

Last month, a Marist survey on abortion found that Americans were more likely to identify as pro-choice than pro-life by a margin of 55 to 38 percent.

“The recent legal changes to late-term abortion and the debate which followed have not gone unnoticed by the general public,” Carvalho said......”,.....
