This latest Adpocalypse started over pedophiles lurking on family oriented channels and leaving lewd comments concerning children seen in video content. One particular Youtuber made light of it on his channel and it went viral. Major advertisors started pulling ads. Now, YouTube is using scorched earth tactics to ostensibly clear out the offenders by either demonetizing channels or flat out shutting them down if any offending comments are found or reported.
Lots of false positives being reported by content creators, and it is now easy to torpedo a channel you don’t agree with politically or for any reason by simply placing inappropriate comments against a video.
I dissented this just to test dissenter!
robinson’s main speech on youtube was powerful. I can see why muslims complained and got him banned. Unfortunately his videos and news stories indicate hey is truthful. We can’t let truth be a standard now can we?
The social medias never go after the false case makers and trolls. Their reviews are an obvious joke when the actual offenders are never ounished.
