The reactions of many on the left to the case of Jussie Smollett prove two important things:
There is little racism in America. The Left — white and black — is morally and psychologically impaired.
There is no doubt that most Americans on the left, including black Americans, are distraught over the fact that Smollett faked the “racist” attack on him. Apparently leftists, Democratic leaders, and, most depressingly, many of his fellow blacks wish Smollett had been attacked by white racist homophobes.
Representative Eric Swalwell (D., Calif.), a white leftist, tweeted, “I hope this was not something that Mr. Smollett did to himself, or created.”
Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart told MSNBC there has been “an atmosphere of menace and hate” since Donald Trump was elected president, which made “people want to believe” Smollett’s story. Exactly. Capehart, a black leftist, wanted to believe that racists yelling “This is MAGA country” beat up blacks.
Another black leftist who writes hate columns for the Washington Post, Nana Efua Mumford, wrote: “I wanted to believe Smollett. I really did.” Again, exactly. Mumford wanted to believe that racists yelling “This is MAGA country” beat up blacks.
Corey Townsend, the social-media editor of The Root, a black-oriented website (founded in 2008 by Harvard black-studies scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr.), opened his column on his private doubts that Smollett was attacked as he claimed with the words, “I wanted to be wrong.” Three paragraphs later: “But still, I wanted to be wrong.”
This should tell you a great deal about how morally and psychologically sick the Left is. And their reactions prove how little racism there really is in America.

Because they NEED something that fits their narrative..without it they have NOTHING to mobilize their whack job base

It was an opportunity to pretend they held the moral high ground while they murder babies, attack whites/Asians, endorse infidelity - you name it.
The racial boogeyman is a bulwark of Dem agitation; I still remember the dragging death of James Byrd, and that set us back decades.

Prager is right; but I would qualify that thusly:
There is little racism on the conservative side.
OTOH, there is massive racism on the left; they seldom think of anything else. It bugs me to see people looking at me trying, hoping to find racism.
And if they keep up their style they’ve displayed the past 40 years, they may make a racist out of me yet. I’m tired of it.

Ah, Swalwell. The Democrat who is going to use America’s nuclear weapons on American gun-owners.
It’s a dem technique. Fake a crime to not the narrative to support radical legislation. Harris introduced an unnecessary pandering anti-lynching bill. This incident gave attention to lynching when no lynchings were going on.
That was the purpose of Fast and Furious Sell american guns to mexican drug cartels and when they are fund incomes, use to to support tighter gun control. But it backfired when they got a border patrol agent and some mexicans killed.
Because some folks have a tilted view and find nothing more pleasurable than sowing the seeds of discord between people of differing backgrounds in our society.
They wish more racism existed, so they could use it. In this instance, in their deranged state, they somehow missed the step where you're happy when you find out a bad thing never happened--just as when you're happy when you learn your kid didn't lie to you. And where you're sorry for the evil thoughts you rashly and unjustly harbored about a fellow man.
Leftists are Gollum--corrupted to their very souls by pride, disdain, ill-will, and a desire for power that outweighs morality, and really, the entire world.
That would be Barack, Eric and Jussie.

That’ why they put so much effort into this investigation...
They wanted to find those evil Trump supporters
Nobody is more disappointed than them that is was a hoax.
They don’t even care how WE feel about it.
The demand for bigots in this country far exceeds the supply.
