"..........Tillis, in his op-ed, wrote that there was "no intellectual honesty" for Republicans if they previously criticized former President Obama's executive actions but don't oppose Trump's on the border wall."

The phone conversation should be short and sweet-- since when is an Invasion of Illegal Aliens NOT a National Emergency. Since when is 656 lbs of Fentanyl, an islamofascist terrorist caught in the illegal wave- NOT a National Emergency?
Finally-- How many ILLEGAL Mexican, Honduran, El Salvadoran aliens are EMPLOYED by your biggest political donors-- RJ. Reynolds, Lorillard, Phillip Morris--- the major hand work of TOBACCO harvest and processing? And HOW many of those are actually MS-13 or Cartel soldiers, or have brought in their KIN who are?
You better pay attention to the FACTS- Tillis! You ever actually talk to the Border Patrol people and people in the know at DEA, DHS? Or do you just follow orders from your legal drug dealing donors?
The “legal” drug is of course, tobacco nicotine. Long ago a major source of DNC funding (and this RINO pretends, like all of them to be a “republican”, and a “conservative”) is the tobacco industry.
They created the taxing basis for their legal existence— for “if you can tax a thing you can CONTROL a thing” and especially control people (with highly addictive drug, nicotine— such that your industry will even fight nicotine vaping devices, even as they underwrite those companies- truth!).
This clown needs to find a spine or get his Republican act straightened out. For, the demonrats can easily find a suitable replacement in the monopoly business in NC of tobacco. A demoncrat who loves shortening life- be it post birth abortion, or lifetime addicition and lung cancer! A cash crop of long ago, and now— the very same Big Tobacco libs are arguing to remove Confederate monuments— so as to cover up HOW they made their money in the first place. As opposed to opium clipper ships from Hong Kong, run from Boston owners- fine folks.
Thom Tillis the ultimate RINO behind Richard Burr. I campaigned for both these tools.
As usual, Tillis is working with half a brain cell. Obama’s executive actions were typically outside the Constitution and law. Trump’s actions on the border complies with the law passed by the Congress. Tillis and Mirkowski, Collins and others are just trying to wrap up their opposition to Trump’s actions in high sounding reasoning like separation of powers etc. Again, Republicans lack integrity and spine. It is no wonder the country had dropped so low until Trump was elected and now they are still trying to fight his America First agenda.
NC republicans had better get out and find/support primary challengers for these two backstabbers.
I sent Tillis an email a few days ago. He wrote me back. Basically told him if he voted against the President on the wall I would do everything in my power to see he was primaried out. Gave him several reasons to vote with the Pres.
Just sent him another with detailed arguments against the ‘rat proposal.
Hope Greg Brannon or ex-gov McCrory runs next time. Get rid of this dR.

Tillis and Burr are both Cheap Labor Express stooges.
Yep— thank you! I hope people will call this clown, for his idiotic posturing... that truly is “intellectually dishonest”— because Trumps EO’s are not outside the Constitution, and because NO republican should ever be support the premise of the Leftie democrats, and their human trafficking (on that alone!)

I’m from NC and I blasted him in an email I sent to him last night and I’m about to call him now.
My family and I will NEVER vote for him again, and I told him this.
You people are not much help. What’s needed is a challenger. Right now the only one is a Democrat.
I expect Tillis will switch parties before his next election...........
Listen, we’re just constituents, we let our voices be heard, we do what we can.
It’s the GOP that chooses the candidates, so blame them.
