Couple sues Planned Parenthood for child support after failed abortion
FOX News ^ | February 22, 2019 | Caleb Park

An Idaho couple claims Planned Parenthood "deceived" them after a failed abortion -- and is asking the asking the agency to cough up the unforeseen cost of raising "an additional unplanned child."

Biana Coons, who was six weeks pregnant with her son, traveled 700 miles with her partner, Cristobal Ruiz, to a Planned Parenthood in Albuquerque, New Mexico in February 2016 to avoid the mandatory waiting period in her home state.

The couple, which already had two children, didn't want another one. But the drug-induced abortion, known as the abortion pill, ultimately failed to end the pre-born child's life and the couple, in "extreme poverty," could not afford a follow-up procedure. Planned Parenthood warned her, in a letter, that the abortion drugs could cause birth defects.

The couple was “deceived into thinking that they could come to New Mexico and initiate the [medication abortion] and then return to Idaho without losing access to ‘Planned Parenthood Services,’” but the abortion provider allegedly told them they needed to return to New Mexico and get it done free of charge or find another office in Idaho and pay, as each Planned Parenthood operates as a separate business.

Instead, Coons gave birth to a "jaundiced and ill" baby boy, now 2, in August of that year -- one month early.

Why did they not put the child up for adoption?

a. Just when you think you’ve seen it all...

b. “as each Planned Parenthood operates as a separate business.”

There has GOT to be some legal way to shut these ghouls down! Wasn’t ‘parting out’ baby parts to the highest bidder bad enough?

Perfectly good for PP to be sued for failure to provide agreed upon services. I hope more people come forward and do the same. I hope they get sued out of existence.

Exactly. We love your older siblings...but you? Not so much.

*SPIT*

I want to grab every person I know that votes Democrat and ask them, “Now that you have a Grandbaby or two, are you STILL going to vote for the Party of Infanticide?”

One day, that child will read that his parents were so ‘outraged, furious and worst of all inconvenienced’ by his birth, that they sued the primary physician and everybody connected. Hopefully, this child is given up for adoption soon. This couple is not capable of providing a loving home.

I like that PP can be sued but I feel so sorry for that kid.

Imagine you find out that your parents felt your birth was such a major burden so they wanted to wipe you out. Poor kid.

The couple, which already had two children, didn't want another one.

I am always sad when I hear a parent say that. I am the oldest of ten. My best friends in the world are three of my sisters who were #5, #7 and #10 in the line up.

It just makes me really sad.

So much for the Planned Parenthood (butchers) ‘professionalism’ that is suppose to be better than back ally butchers.

A friend of mine was 46 and found iout she was pregnant. Her husband and she had 3 and the youngest was heading to college 3 months later. Everyday for 9 months she complained. AND now everyday on Facebook for 3 years we see the exciting times of Tim. They are so thrilled. It’s so funny how things change. Raising a toddler AND they have 2 grandchildren now obviously not living with them but still strange I am sure.. Lol.

Big money from the government. Poor and sickly baby equals big bucks every month.

I once asked a devout Democrat and devout Catholic how he could vote Democrat knowing they support abortion. He said, oh, well, that's just one thing. I told him 60 million dead babies is a pretty big thing. No response.

He better have a darn good story for Saint Peter.

Of course, adoption never even crossed their mind. F*cking reptiles.

All they had to do was have the adoption rep at the hospital. The baby is taken from the room to another where the adoption rep takes care of the baby for the length of the right of rescission period, which in many states is three days.

At the end of the three days it goes home with the rep, and the adopting family meets the rep at their home and takes custody of the child.

That’s how we ended up with our first. Our Warrior Princess Peanut. Tough as titanium nails.

So I guess a ‘romp’ is unplanned as well. So as soon as you found out you were preggers you just let it ride? Emotional stress? I think the baby had some sort of emotional stress as well. So why didn’t you put it up for adaption if you didn’t want it?

Could this all have been premeditated with goal of suing pp? She went for a 2 part medical procedure. She knew skipping the second appt could cause brain damage. For 6 months she carried the child, knowing it’s probably affected, and never sought help or care.

Even in Idaho some clinic would help. Also, if so poor, a hundred govt programs are out there. At least, pregnancy would qualify her for disability. Or afdc since other kids.

I don’t favor pp, but sounds like they did proper follow up, per current law. The larger question is should chemicals be allowed which cause brain damage when birth is a possibility?

I don’t understand and probably never will why POOR people (without financial resources) are so ignorant of what causes a pregnancy. Was saying “NO” never taught? AND no marriage??? Not that it would make any difference but looks like they are bound for a life of poverty and ignorance and a poor child will have a miserable life even into adulthood which just isn’t right.

She’s a peach. She’s going to be graduating soon, and she still wears a child’s size 4 shoe. It’s like having a thumb on the bottom of your ankle.

Such a cutie.
