The Justice Department could announce the completion of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on his investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 presidential election as early as next week, according to report Wednesday.
CNN reports that newly-confirmed attorney general Willian Barr is expected to turn over a summary of the report to Congress soon after its completion. The outlet cautioned that President Donald Trump’s overseas trip to meet with North Korea dictator Kim Jong-un could impact the “precise timing of the announcement.”
Preparations undertaken by Barr and Justice Department officials is the clearest sign yet that the nearly two-year-old investigation is drawing to a close. CNN writes: “The scope and contours of what Barr will send to Congress remain unclear. Also unclear is how long it will take Justice officials to prepare what will be submitted to lawmakers.”
Barr has cited Justice Department regulations that say Mueller’s report should be confidential. They require only that the report explain decisions to pursue or decline prosecutions.
The Justice Department, nor the special counsel’s office would comment to CNN regarding its report.
In a press conference last month, then-Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker said he believed Mueller’s investigation was “close to being completed.”
“Right now the investigation is I think close to being completed,” the Justice Department official told reporters. “I hope we can get the report from Director Mueller as soon as possible.”

Like the Dems had the services of leading TV and Hollywood producers, directors and writers for their campaign propaganda, now they have the services, I’m sure, of the top fiction writers in America to script the most compelling Mueller Report version they can devise. And they will not allow the facts to get in their way.
Like the re-written Old West gunfighter stories that are found to have been hogwash. Many actual deaths of most wanted guys was by a shaky handed fellow creeping in the dark to shoot a guy in the back as the target came out of a bar. Almost none face to face.
One of the men John Wesley Hardin shot was asleep. He killed him for snoring.

It's just a head fake to keep the new AG from taking any action. He will stall for time and once Barr has been in there for a while and Barr has not acted Mueller once again will have the appearance of legitimacy and then Barr will not have a reason to shut it down, this will continue on through the election.
It seems a bit soon. They just sent in the 82nd Airborne on Roger Stone just a couple of weeks ago. They could do a slow roast on him for at least a year wandering through his contacts and finances.
If he comes out with a report that says something like, “We couldn’t prove it, but we know he colluded...”, I’d love to see Trump level both barrels of a lawsuit against Mueller et all (naming everyone involved), for trying to frame him and overthrow his administration.
Will the report include the price tag?
does this mean after 2 years of using 'announcements' to sabotage Pres Trump's foreign diplomacy successes, they're going to wait this time? Or release as he's in the air per SOP?

Why might some of the information in the report be withheld?
Give me reasons other than the obvious “to hide the identities and crimes of the Clinton team”. Give me “honorable” reasons.
Well, maybe. If the folks working on the other big story out of chiraq get sprung loose they may find more “evidence” to use. As long as no Nigerian brothers are being used.
