When will we see a non-swamp special prosecutor appointed?

It is my understanding that Majorities of either party within the House or Senate Judiciary Committee could formally request the attorney general to appoint a special prosecutor on a particular matter, but the decision of whether or not to appoint the independent counsel remained with the attorney general and was not reviewable in court.

So when is the GOP majority of the Senate Judiciary going to request a special prosecutor for the FBI/DOJ cover up?

Second, is Barr going to appoint one?

Until then, this is just deck chair rotation.

Trump could have ordered the appointment of a special prosecutor to look into the clintons manifest crimes along with DOJ corruption long ago. I also think he could and should have ordered a supervisor to oversee the mueller probe other than Rosenweasel due to his obvious conflict of interest.

“When will we see a non-swamp special prosecutor appointed?”

When we find one honest Senator willing to put it all on the line who can convince Barr to appoint one.
