President Trump suggested Monday night that former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe committed treason, making his case in a tweet that cited Fox News’s Sean Hannity, hours after lobbing similar claims at Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein.
Trump sent the tweet during Hannity’s nightly show, in which the host assailed McCabe for claiming that he and Rosenstein discussed invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from power.
Quoting Hannity, Trump wrote, “’The biggest abuse of power and corruption scandal in our history, and it’s much worse than we thought. Andrew McCabe (FBI) admitted to plotting a coup (government overthrow) when he was serving in the FBI, before he was fired for lying & leaking.’” @seanhannity @FoxNews Treason!” @seanhannity @FoxNews Treason!

To ask such a question, you apparently assume the president is a coward or just plain stupid.

For the life of me I don’t get it. Why in the heck did Trump not appointed a pit bull day 1 to the AG post, fired everyone in the FBI & CIA and have a justice department that will do their dam job? Of course there would have been an explosion like no other but ok so do it NOW. From what I hear about this Barr guy, he’s part of the swamp. What was wrong with Wittiker? He thumbed his nose at them and laughed at them. This is crazy.

Oh, I have given it lots of thought. The silence of Republicans is deafening. Their refusal to step up and hold Rod and his fellow cabal members accountable is shameful. A disgrace rally, but par for the course for Republicans.

Trump should have cleaned house within the first few weeks of becoming president. He still has not drained the Swamp. Its haunted him everyday of his presidency.
There will never be any arrests despite this easily being the biggest scandal in American history. And without accountability and punishment we are virtually guaranteed to see a repeat of such treasonous activity again. Except next time it may well be successful.
Hell, we can’t even get the FISA docs declassified. Something is terribly rotten in the state. A leaky ship indeed!

Since the Five Eyes are officially allies, it is arguable - but definitely sedition.
Personally, I think the Uranium One conspiracy was more likely treasonous, and inherently tied to the sedition.
We could split hairs on whether the 5-eyes as "official" allies does not make it Treason. I say it is Treason, because they are foreign powers who our domestic Traitors conspired with to overthrow a duly elected President who received over 61 million votes.
That makes our 'allies' enemies, in that sense.

UNLESS he rolls some heads and restores the rule of law, he will NOT be elected.
Trump won by only 77,000 votes, and the dems now know how to stuff ballot boxes because they were not prosecuted for vote fraud in 2016 or 2018.
Think about it: No dem has been prosecuted under Trump.

First, he’s right. But second, why the HELL did he keep them around for so long. Trump is good at shooting off his mouth about Sessions and Rosenstein but he kept them around for way too long.
