It boggles the mind to think how Jeb would have performed on immigration enforcement.
My mind of man! Go Stephen!
Bush deserves being a punching bag.
He and Obama are twin traitors to the republic.
America would be immeasurably better off had the Bushes decided to become polo players rather that politicians.
He’s stating the obvious, and it’s about time someone did - the current lawlessness on the southern border is due to deliberate decisions over the decades by both Democrats and Chamber-of-Commerce Republicans. Democrat politicians want illegal aliens because they are their future vote base. Republican politicians want them because their business lobbyists want cheap labor. We finally have a president who is trying to end it.
For the most part I do not like the sHill.
Is the article demeaning the Trump administration for using the Bush administration for a punching bag, or is the article about the ineptness of the Bush administration’s immigration policies?
Bush II kept the country safe after 9/11. But even that was not a complete win. Because we lost some freedoms in the process.
And on everything else, Bush II was a total failure. IMO, he is the worst GOP president, ever. And probably in the bottom three of all presidents. We will be paying for his errors for generations.
Clintons, Bushes, Obamas — bad, bad, bad.
Just look at the lineage, his father Herbert talked at the UN of a new world order (globalists), his son backed the GOP good guys with his blind eye to illegal immigration, jeb would have been at the border offering candy and cup cakes and telling all who would listen Im doing it out of love. Obama seeded the US with radical Somali’s air lifted in the dead of night into Midwest rural areas and also left the border open, all the rats were for a wall and put up a picket fence. What a joke on the American people
I have often thought that.
After he won he said this:
I want to remind people that family values do not stop at the Rio Grande River. People are coming to our country to do jobs that Americans wont do, to be able to feed their families. And I think theres a humane way to recognize that, at the same time protect our borders, and at the same way to make sure that we dont disadvantage those who have stood in line for years to become a legal citizen. And Im looking forward to working with people of both parties on the issue.
Its why I dont worship Trump. I support him, but around these parts during the Bush admin, Bush was revered. We need to save worship for actual Deities (Deity).
Bush turns out to not have acted in the best interests of his constituents, We the People. He was not a good President at all. Yet all we did around here is suck up to him for most of his admin.
Divide deeds from the leader.
Ill see you at the signing.
Miller responded by attacking Bush’s record on immigration.
Awesome. Bush never said a word when the millions of people who voted for him where assaulted by the Obama admin. Now he takes to instagram of all places to take not so subtle swipes at POTUS.
I really liked “Fly Like an Eagle”.
Little known fact. He increased Saudi visa 16-fold after 9/11. And Bush and Obama brought in equal numbers of moslems during their terms. We have approached almost 2 million since 9/11.
As a nurse, I saw how many illegals were in the hospital under Bush. That number decreased under Obama. Bush was the main culprit here and we would have had the same if Jeb was elected President.
Chris Wallace thought he was onto something big when he quoted the Constitution mandating that Congress only can appropriate money from the Treasury. He would not let it go.
Why did not someone point out to the idiot that Trump is NOT appropriating money from the Treasury, but only moving money around that has already been appropriated from the Treasury by Congress.
Another thing, he quoted Rush criticizing Obama from issuing executive orders.
Why did not Rush say that Trump was issuing executive orders based on the law passed by Congress, while Obama was issuing orders without or in contradiction to the law passed by Congress.
