An agreement was made in the Colin Kaepernick collusion case, his attorney, Mark Geragos, announced on Twitter. Geragos didnt include any details of the settlement, but did say there had been active dialogue between the two parties, leading to an agreement. The NFL released the same statement, citing a confidentiality agreement as to why no details would be given.
For the past several months, counsel for Mr. Kaepernick and Mr. Reid have engaged in an ongoing dialogue with representatives of the NFL, read the joint statement issued on Friday. As a result of those discussions, the parties have decided to resolve the pending grievances. The resolution of this matter is subject to a confidentiality agreement so there will be no further comment by any party.
The collusion case also included Kaepernicks former teammate Eric Reid. The safety is back in the league after a hiatus, joining the Panthers last season and getting a three-year, $22 million contract from Carolina this offseason.
Bleacher Reports Mike Freeman said that NFL team officials are speculating Kaepernicks payout landed between $60-80 million.

I sure want to contribute to the payout for this whiny punk.
I think you mean whiny racist punk.
if the NFL bosses gave this anti-American jerk one red cent, this is yet another reason to stay the Heck away from NFL!
first, they defend or enable him... then they pay him off, reward him for insulting football fans and Americans everywhere?
no way, Jose! We aren’t patronizing NFL ever now!
Geragos. Always been a slime. Colon never wanted to play football. Just wanted a payout. In two years hell be broke and looking for the next social justice payout. Geragos will be at the ready

So they are guessing. It could be seven bucks, it could be a trillion, one of them.
Why is Colin Kaepernick even mentioned anymore????
He is a nobody...
They must have had some legit proof? Or just virtue signaling? I know 60-80 million is chickenfeed to the NFL, but wow.
Freegards
A nobody who just got 60 mil for nothing because the commissioner is a leftist a-hope.
A nobody who just got 60 mil for nothing because the commissioner is a leftist a-hope.
Yeah, the teams refuse to hire him because he’s lousy.
Still a nobody.....
Now we find out the AAF tried to get Kaepernick. Goodbye to them too.
Didn’t they have secretarial notes of owner’s meetings in the MLB collusion cases of the 80s? I recall MLB paying the players like 250 million+ in damages in the late 80s, but that was actually arbitrated, not sure if this NFL thing was.
Freegards
When the AAF didn’t come up with the $20 million he wanted, I guess he thought he’d better turn up the heat under his extortion of the NFL.
Of course fake news is spinning it to sound like sackorpick declined the AAF offer. snicker
As I asked this morning when I saw this:
How much does he have to pay them?
Roger Goodell is a bigger coward and fool than his father, the late lefist GOP senator, and that takes some doing.
One lousy hair-freaking black commie has succeeded in wrecking the NFL and all Goodell can say is “Thank you sir. Can I have more of this leftist shit?”
The owners deserve it as they supported the protests and did not fire the guy outright for supporting castro and the killers of police etc.
Just saw the Wall Street Journal today and it says Reid and Kaepernick only got a total of $10 Million to be split after lawyer fees. He did not get the money he sought.
The America-hating racist thug shouldn’t have gotten anything.
